I like them both, and think they are both better than anyone driving today. Today's young punks wouldn't be allowed to sweep the shop floor back when real drives raced in NASCAR.

Wow, I would have to say um Petty because I don't know alot about Pearson and no one is better then the king and you gotta realize that it was sort of easier to compete because it was different guys and not every guy went to every race so if their were less drivers you had a better shot at winning to even if you were good but I am still a Richard Petty fan always will love the KING!!!!

Pearson ran fewer races and won a larger percentage.Having seen both run I'd say Pearson.

it kind of depends.. i mean, obviously 73 had a better percentage of wins..but 10 consecutive?? that's hard to argue with.. i think they were both great, and hard to argue with both of them.. i'm not sure a better could be put on either one of them.. i'd just chalk it up to being lucky enough to have two awesome seasons..
