In the mid '80s I was the lowly plebe dubbed “Office Manager” for a company in So. Cal. They would have sports celebrities come in all the time and autograph memorabilia. I would show the guys in, fetch lunch, arrange stuff…well I had to set-up an office for baseball Hall of Fame “Mr. October” whom I might add enjoyed cigars. I got the unfortunate job of informing him that it was a “none smoking office.” Ump! It did not go over well at all. I lasted 6 months in the job.

Yes. I met Melloncamp when I was young. It was during the height of his popularity, in the mid 80s. He refused to sign an autograph, I was 10. What the hell is wrong with him? I met Johnny Rivers a few years ago, he was a jerk. He wouldn't sign autographs unless you bought his new album, the guy behind me had all his old records. He bought them when they were new. I asked him about his keyboard player, and just treated me like an asshole.

I was visiting in the suburbs of a major city in the south. My fiancee and I were walking the dog when Travis Tritt came running down his driveway saying "get that g-damn dog off my lawn." The dog wasn't even on the lawn, we were walking along the street. He was such an ahole.

I never bought another one of his albums again.

Uber-record producer Rick Rubin , who was still seriously fat at the time, shoved me out of the way at at concert and almost knocked me over (my 120 lbs. was nothing against his 250+!!). It was Soundgarden at The Palace and it was PACKED, so I was used to getting bumped into, but he just bowled his way through me and my friends like we weren't even there. I called him a fat a**hole and his companion turned, so I know Rubin heard me. What a jerk.
