I am not Asian but i think Affirmative Action is totally unfair and BS.. if its for "minorities" then why is AA mainly for Blacks and Mexicans??
Asians are a bigger minority but they dont get the same treatment? this is rediculous..

I AM TOTALLY against Affirmative Action..

Sunday as I was leaving the airport my car would pause when I stepped on the accelerator. As I drove on the freeway it got worse and eventually I had to pull over. It was acting like I was pressing on the gas and letting off - even though I wasn't. I checked the transmission fluid and it was totally empty. I went and got more transmission fluid and as I added saw it spurting out of the hose. To sum it up I just paid $240 to get the hose fixed yesterday and my car still is not driving right. If I start it - it goes into gear and drives for about 1 minute. Then I hit the gas and the RPM goes to 5 with no forward motion. So then I turn the car off and do this again. Is my transmission shot? Thanks

Is being a mail carrier a decent job as far as the pay and benefits in relation to the work performed? How annoying is it dealing with the heavy seasonal mail loads and horrible weather days? Do you really get a lot of exercise from walking the routes even if you have a truck to help? Are dogs a big problem in some yards? I was considering trying to get into this line of work. I live in a suburban area of LI, NY. Any feedback positive or negative would be appreciated.

From 5th grade to seventh i played cello. last year *7th* i couldnt play the music so i just quit playing. i ended up w/ a D. i had gotten an A or B the first 3 quarters and a F the last. My mom said that if i do student council i have to do it the entire year. and i think im getting an A in every class but aerobics because the poses are semi-erotic especially when there's a guy behind u! but im gettin a C+ in that class. any way one of the requirements says: Executive counsel and house members will do their best academically. Executive council members will maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. House council members will maintain an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher. Students failing to meet these standards will be placed on probation for one quarter. If the student fails to meet the requirement for a second time, the student will be removed from student council.

I have always had kind of low blood pressure, and I just checked it today it was 97 over 59. Is this too low? I have been getting a weird chest pain every once in awhile..I think thats one of the symptoms. Please help.

my best friend for many years has basically abandoned me since i got pregnant with my 1sts child. my daughter is almost 1 now and i confronted my friend on why she hasnt been around and why she associate herself with other friends with kids but not me. she confessed that she is jealous and doesnt know how to get over it. i feel she has done things to spite me recently and for her to bring my baby girl into it upsets me... she has lots of friends that have kids, why is she treating me this way, is the friendship worth saving? also she lives around the corner and never visits my daughter and i go out "socially " with her and other friends as often as a new mom can. i dont feel that i have changed and my other friends have all treated me the same as usual. advice please!!!

Believe it or not, intruders feed me with endless drugs that torture my brain & my physical body. This lead to financial losses. I want to demand compensation payment for damages done. But I have financial difficulties to employ a lawyer. How can my problem be solved? I'm looking for good information on Jeffery Dahmer. I've been to crimelibrary.com and I've read the book by Joel Norris and some of the info doesn't match up. As what my other posts say, my fiance's two sisters are living with us. The one that is my age has her boyfriend staying here. I swear to God he is flirting with me! This is what happened when she wasen't here: He threw a cat toy at me, put his hand on my shoulder( standing like a foot away) and said what's up? I dont even know him! Then when we went grocery shopping with her little sister and him he kept trying to run the shopping cart into me over and over. Everytime we go somewhere he says "shotgun!" when I'm driving. I also just get the feeling that he likes me. EEWW!

I just wanna leave and go live somewhere else, because I don't feel love and barely any God in my house. My heart is crying out for someone to care for me, and I know God has the love already for me, but I don't wanna just 'bother' God with my stupid emotions because I think God's taking me through this for a reason and I think I'm missing the point. out to him and make me feel like an insecure woman. The thing is he tends to look at underaged girls ALOT, like 14 or 17ish. Whenever we are driving in the car and pass a school he will always eyeball the pretty teenagers...even when I am there. Iam 25 and this is really annoying the **** out of me, he is 32 btw. The thing is he doesnt care about my feelings or what I say, if he wants one of those girls (someone younger) then why doesnt he just say so, instead of making me feel like shitt. Also whenever I look at another guy (usuually to get bak at him, so he knows how it feels) He will tell me to go fuckk off and be with them, like its perfectly fine for him to look but not me. Cant he at least respect me and do this when I am not around???
