I'm looking for good information on Jeffery Dahmer. I've been to crimelibrary.com and I've read the book by Joel Norris and some of the info doesn't match up. Does anyone know if he had any diaries or if there was ever an autobiography? Any info would help. I'm writing a paper for a juvinille justice class about Dahmer's childhood.

Anything you find will be speculation.......he was never the talkative type.

I typically avoid angelfire sites, but the posted link has a nice transcript from Ressler's interview with Jeffrey.

He never wrote an autobiography or kept a diary (that anyone knows of).

I have done quite a bit of research on Dahmer myself for papers in college and would be happy to help you if you want to discuss it.

There's a good movie called Dahmer. If you're into that, don't miss it. The guy who plays him is awesome.
Look up a federal agent called Ressler. He interviewed Dahmer and wrote about it in a few books of his.
Tragic story. Very unnerving.
Oh, and the book by the parents... Remember that they could not get "into" his mind, as forensic psychologists have tried to do. But I think it would be good to research all aspects.

Go to biographychannel.com
I don't believe he ever wrote an autobiography, but there is some info on that site. Also try courtTV.com, forensicfiles.com, they'll have some info.

His parents actually wrote a book about him and his life story...you should really read it. I have seen the crime scene photos (I am a criminology major studying forensics) and they are unlike anything I have ever seen (I have seen many crime scene photos too). He is really worth researching.
