Is the employment law different in Scotland as in Edngland/Wales. I have a guy working with me and he is a trainee roofer. He doesn't go to college as he is trained on site and training day's within the firm. He is on £4.43 per hour. He isn't 22 until Dec this year. I was telling him today that his rate is too low as the minimum wage has increased. It's a shame, he's a good lad and hard working. Can anyone advice please

I told my daughter that she is not open for buisness. And her teacher told her that it is old fashioned and unrealistic parents like me causing teenage pregnancy. The only way I found out was the Drs. office called to confirm. I was there waiting for them. When her teacher heard Mom? She immidiately asked for security. This just happened an hour ago. Okay, so we're studing Nazi's and all that stuff, and we're having this project thingy at school, kinda like a walk-through of the Holocaust, and the teacher put us in commitees to figure out design and reasearch what the concentration camps looked like, and I'm in the one where I decorate and all that kinda stuff. (You can't tell, but it's for College-prep English, I obviously don't talk like a college-prep student, LOL) Anyway, my idea, since we're using blacklights and smoke machines was to get like one of those invisible ink markers and write like a grafitti thing of something like what a Jew would say (something like a Swatchika symbol and " = death" written in their language) problem is:I don't know what language they spoke, and how to say/spell "death" in their language.AND I'm not sure if that seems respectful. Should I tell the teacher my idea???

HI I have been falsely accused of communicating threats. My attorney suggests I take deferred prosecution. Hes aid that after the probationary period the case will be dismissed. I am currently persuing my masters in Accounting and will ultimately sit for the CPA exam. I do not want to have a criminal record. I suggested taking it to trial, however he feels that we will lose because the other girl has witnesses and I do not.

Should I take the deferred prosecution or fight - i have an excellent argument but my attorney is .......... please help

An ebay member bid on an item of mine and won, but after two days and two emails to her, she responds to tell me she will pay me when she gets paid Thursday!!! The nerve! I let her know after the auction ended (and before she got around to letting me know this) that I would wait until Tuesday this week before relisting the item. I only wait three days for payment, and don't know why the world should revolve around her?! Can I relist the item even though she claims to intend to pay? The item didn't even cost very much, but my time is money and I do not think I should have to wait so long. Does Ebay have a policy about this? What should I do?
