Look, I'm trying to buy a computer. Gateway notebook portable but I don't want it with Windows Microsoft , I want it with Macintosh Software. It's possible that I could choose that. Please, help me find a way.

I don't want to be a Mother to my own Mother any more!
I don't want her out on the streets.. but i'm sick of giving my money away to here while i'm still in debt!
She has no goals, no friends, no motiviation, she don't want anyones help, she stubbarn! she says she tries but how by waiting for it to knock on her door or step on her toe! I love her with all my heart.. i try to help i guess i'm not doing something right!
she finally got health insure threw the state!
and now we find out she has very high blood pressure and is about a step away from a heart attack!
we are in the process of moving! well she is i'm still getting my stuff out of the house! I do understand how she feels i mean she feels like she lost me her b/f and daughter because now i have a lover and moving on with my life! she has to move to a smaller place so she can keep her help from the state and go by her income and that's nothing she can't find a job maybe too old! she is in her 50's what to do help!!!!!!!!!!!

For excessive time off fair enough we thought this was the end of the matter. but this morning he received a letter with his faults but the thing i am confused is there was no company logos nothing just his cousin complaining about him could this be a form of harrasement? Ok here it is,my husband and I have been together for 9 years I have 2 daughters from and earlier relationship,a year into our relationship we had our son..our marriage is really good! But... our kids are now 11,9,6 years old...and I have to admit I do EVERYTHING FOR THEM/and my husband none of them have to do dishes,clean their rooms,bathrooms,do chores and so on...I'd also have to admit my kids are lazy! and very messy...they don't pick up after themselves and whine when I do ask them to clean,maybe thats why I don't ask anybody to help me around the house...It's just easier to do it myself,but I know thats not right...Hubby has stated more then a few times that if I don't change and start making them help out and do work around the house,at the very least clean up after themselves he's leaving me and getting a divorce...so is he just acting like an a s s ? or do I have my head in the sand? He's says I'm not teaching them anything by doing it all for them,but thats how I was raised.

I recently (2 days ago) accepted a job offer with a company in Washinton, DC. I had heard positive things from a few people who have no direct connection with the firm.
Since that time, I've heard dozens of negative things about the corporate culture from employees and ex-employees. Things that confirm some red flags that I noted during my interview. I thought those red flags were just me being overly cautious, but now I think I ought to have trusted my gut.

How can I tactfully turn down the position, now that I've already accepted? Does this happen often, and it is a terrible faux pas?

does spelling matter any way. i could care less about it. words are once again a creation of man so me as bieng a man has the right to change them. seeing as if they can change the bible and you still believe it. but ok here let me make this even simpler for you people. now why do you believe this book written thousands of years ago by some man tht may or may not have been on some good drugs, but you dont believe the flying spaghetti monster or what if i wrote my own bible now you wouldnt believe tht would you. no you wouldnt. now dont answer this question for points, i want a serouis answe here not some oh you should love god junk. why do you believe in this book but not other works of man. and what exsactly has god done for you? dont say oh he made my life great, no cause guess what if you didnt do it you life would suck. you work to make money to feed your self and blah blah, god doesnt go out and get you food. you work and it pays off not god gives you things and lets you be lazy

In another question a person asked about light bending around planets to get to us here on earth, and does that change the measurement of a light year. Well, all these intelligent (no sarcasim intended here) folks said yes, it bends around planets to get here but the speed doesn't change so on and so forth. Well, if it bends around palnets to get here, how is it we achieve a total eclipse and it gets dark? One doesn't mesh with the other in my mind so please explain how it can bend around a planet to get here, yet sometimes the planet eclipses the sun and no light gets here?

my H and I have an 8 month year old son. He has 2 daughters from another marriage.We live 2 states away from the girls so we dont see them often AND their mom says some bad things about us in front of them as well as they have not gotten to meet their new brother due to legal matters(the mom puts her petty issues with my husband and I before the girls knowing their family).I want our son to have a close sibling to grow up with(one that he won't have a tainted relationship with). My husband is afraid that his daughters will feel "replaced." I feel that the only reason young children feel that way is because the idea is encouraged by an adult(I'm not pointing any fingers BUT the Mom has abandonment issues as well). I do not thnk it's fair for our son to grow up wthout knwing wht it's like to have a bro or sis becuse of ths reason.my H wnts our son to hav a good relatonshp wth the grls but I don't see tht hppenen anytme soon.Our son shuldn't have to wait to knw what its lke to hav tht

Why is UFO sighting increasing this lasts day?? I have a friend in Mexico, and within this week, he spotted and catched 3 different objets, with different shape, some simetric, one of them like a living creature, close to the 20`long. All catched in Monterrey`s metroplex. Any explanation????

I tried to just ignore her because I will not disrespect her since she is my mother. However, I can no longer deal w/ her calling me cussing and fussing then hanging up the phone. I avoid her because she has a nasty attitude. Although we live in the same town I only visit on holidays briefly and for her birthday. I recently limited her time with her grandchildren because she spends the time cursing and complaining to the children about me and indoctrinating them with negativity. They should not have to exposed to that as I was a child. I do not want to feel guilty, but I do not feel that I should have to deal with that type of behavior because she is my mother. I have a family of my own and I need peace in my life - not my momma and her drama. She has an explosive temper and lacks the maturity to have a conversation about why I think it is better to love her from a distance rather than having me lose all that's calm and peaceful within me and go off on her. I'm on the verge!
