John Casablanca Modeling Agency? My daughter heard over the radio yesterday that the agency will be here in town and wanted to go, so I did my research on the internet, and have read that they are a sham, but there were also good reviews about the agency also. So I was wondering if anyone has heard of them, and if so what do you know about the agency?. They are in Memphis right now looking for new faces for model advertisments. This is a serious inqury, so please answer honestly, Thank You

It's a modelling "mill". Kind of a sham if you will, but something might pan out, you never know.

If your daughter really has a shot at being a model, you should look into more legit agencies.

I have heard it's mostly a sham,, but then again I think most modeling stuff is,, I know girls like to dream of being a model and everything,, I have two girls so I understand,, but it's horrid they starve themselves,, take druggs and have sex with people just to get the "right" jobs.
Do you really want your daughter in that lifestyle?

John Casablanca is more of an etiquette school...than modeling...They're totally just after your money...LOL

If your daughter wants to model, it's definitely good for her to take some classes...learn to walk...learn about make-up, how to dress for an interview/audition...but the best thing to do if you want to model, is make a proffesional portfolio...They can be somewhat expensive...but it's essential in modeling.

I was chosen to model for them and it is a sham.I live n Atlanta and they came here "looking for New Faces".I went to the meeting and they took my picture and height exc...They then said oh you'd be great put my pictures on the internet on their site and all and then wanted me to "Pay!A!Fee!) for them to market me.I dont think so.I quickly moved on and took other avenues that were better for me.Its harder to do it on ur own but better. Dont pay them any mind. Here r a couple ideas
1.Try shooting your own calander
2.Try making a poster
3.Send ur head shots to your local agencies
4Try sending them to the big modeling states California,Newyork,Atlanta
Hey it worked for me and now it's working for my 1yr old and my 6wk old.Yeah there modeling safely @ young ages.
Good Luck/Anyone who wants u to pay a fee to market you run they should want u for ur good looks and if they chose you then someone else will to.Dont pay b/c there's no garuntee that you will get work.Oh try to go to specific websites for companies that u'd like to model for too that will work to.
