I suffer from this and I was precribed Tofranil for it by my OBGYN (also has helped me with my anxiaty and depression) and that heleped immensly, My attacks went from 15 a month to 1 or 2 a month. Then my pills ran out an since I am being treated now by a gastralogist she doesnt prescribe Tofronil she put me on Bentyl. I'm actually having more pains on this pill than if I was on any medication at all. Has anyone else suffered from this side effect of Bentyl? Are there any other medications out there for IBS with diarreah?

If you look at these questions and answers it's clear that we have a strong theme among us -- many of us are in relationships with people that aren't the love of our lives. I'm wondering why? Did you choose to be with someone for practical reasons? Is the love of your life just impossible to deal with? Is being alone better than being with someone that is just a good companion? We were told that our new American bulldog has a sensitive stomach, and that she can only have food that has fish in it. Has anyone had this happen to their dog? and if so did you try Lamb and rice? Should I try it? The food that she is eating now is VERY COSTLY...please help!

Ok, this began about 2 months ago. Maybe a little earlier than that even. My 5 year old daughter has developed this insane fear of sitting on the toilet, claims it makes noises, and that it's gonna flush with her on it....BY ITSELF. She goes from calm to manic in approx. 3 seconds...complete with screaming crying, face turns purple from lack of breathing related to this, shaking --all because she will pull down her pants, make me go with her to the toilet, hop up on it, sit at the very edge of it to where if god forbid she actually did pee, it would shoot out on me....for about 2 secs, strains like she's having a BM and says "it won't come out mommy"....and attempts to hop off the toilet. When she has a BM, as soon as she feels that last little strain...to push out the poop( oh boy, what a subject) she attempts to hop off the toilet and makes the biggest MESS --it is horrible. I even took her to the ER and had her cathed over it....for retention. parauresis????
