Whole grain bread that is NOT enriched and has no high fructose corn syrup.

White bread is a terrible thing to put into your body. It is loaded with sugars and preservatives and offers no nutritional value. Wheat bread is better but only if it is 100% whole wheat bread. If it says "enriched" then it is no better than eating white bread.

Wheat is better but....I like the taste of white. Sometimes I will get the white bread with fortified calcium to make me feel better for not getting wheat. If I get wheat..I choose Home Pride brand because they are still soft and not so sand paper-ish.

Wheat bread is the healthiest. Especially whole grain bread. If you get Whole Grain with honey, its yummy.
White bread has to many refined starches and will stick in your stomache longer.

Refined flour and water equals glue. bread made from this is
similar and has no fiber to keep it moving in your intestines and
if left to stick around will help to create polyps in your colon and
may even become cancerous. It also provides little nutrition and
in fact helps to rob other nutrition from you.
Wheat bread means nothing and may in fact just be colored
white bread and it does not taste good to me.
The more whole grains a bread has - the better it is for you
and if stone ground - even better. Since all bread is high in
starch - it quickly raises your blood sugar and is easily converted
to fat and stored in your fat tissues.
So keep all bread to a minimum.
