Knocking on Heaven's Door by Guns and Roses. My husband wants Knocking on Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan. It's just something that we have discussed.

Dancing in the moonlight by Toplaoder.

I loved this song when it first came out. Those were the days when I would get drunk with my friends and we'd dance about, in the moonlight!Sounds sad, I know! Anyway, I've always been a night time person and i love the outdoors, in all seasons, so I feel this song is appropriate.

I thought I would have outgrown the song to be honest, but I heard it a couple of months ago and it brought back tons of good memories, it put a big cheesy grin on my face. Love it!

Either this the End by The Doors, or Paint it Black - the Rolling Stones because they're ironically morbid and I'd hope it made someone laugh. And something upbeat like Aretha's R.E.S.P.E.C.T or Chaka Khan's I'm Every Woman. I wouldn't want a weepy funeral - I'd want everyone to wear bright colours and celebrate my life rather than mourn my death.

"Always Look at the Bright Side of Life"

Why??

It makes people smile and I hope that people would remember me as being an optimist - I don't want people to be morbid, sad yes but at least we knew each other!

My husband, daughter and I had a very close call last Christmas by a drunk driver and it's still close to our hearts at the moment - otherwise I probably wouldn't have thought too much about it.

Amazing Grace, played on the fiddle because it is a beautiful song, very fitting for the situation.

Also, Someone To Watch Over Me. My all time favorite song...if its my funeral, something that was my favorite should be played....right???

The 2080 eurovision song contest winning tune. (Wishful thinking as I am 50)

Hymn "Abide with me" to "Eventide" played in a straight 4/4 time no pauses on the minims, if you know what I mean.
My own arrangement of "To God be the Glory" and Cym Baya if I ever finish it all acompanied by our Silver Band.
And I want a selection of Wurzels tunes "West Country Songs" played by the silver band as a voluntary, and my arrangement of "A Nightingale Sang"
Bet you wish you hadn't asked now.

I'd like the Crazy Frog song played, and the priest would tell everyone that I would have wanted them all to get up and dance and I would be haunting anyone who didnt, and I'd like my coffin to be made out of cheese cake and everyone would have to take a bite out of it as they filed out of the crematorium, and the priest would be dressed as Jack Sparrow and have to conduct the whole service in Jacks voice too.
Then I'd like to be cremated with mt mobile phone, ipod and my straightners and I'd like my ashes to be taken and put inside i a firework and shot off at the top of Primrose Hill.
Is that too much to ask?

Bob Dylan - Forever Young

Because it's a prayer to the living, wishing good things for those who survive me.

"Forever Young" by BOB DYLAN

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
