I speak of advancement in terms of agricultural, technological, manufacturing, educational, medical, and power harnessing advancements. Is it within one nations right to determine what levels another nation is allowed to progress to? What if someone was to say to you and your homeland, "though you may have the knowledge and ability to better your way of life, we will not allow you to do so." What would your reaction be?
Please, I ask this question with no pre-tense of speaking about current world occurences. I ask that answers to this question be about the question itself, not slanted with detrimental opinions about current events. The question itself is pure, please answer it as such. Thank you.
