I speak of advancement in terms of agricultural, technological, manufacturing, educational, medical, and power harnessing advancements. Is it within one nations right to determine what levels another nation is allowed to progress to? What if someone was to say to you and your homeland, "though you may have the knowledge and ability to better your way of life, we will not allow you to do so." What would your reaction be?

Please, I ask this question with no pre-tense of speaking about current world occurences. I ask that answers to this question be about the question itself, not slanted with detrimental opinions about current events. The question itself is pure, please answer it as such. Thank you.

many nations advance in one or the other of the fields you mentioned. And the answer for me is --the right to freely question the ethics of anyone proposing to speak for an entire nation as a prerequisite,
however heaven being your own home what choices made within that home and its occupants should be freely made and considered as rights. I have rights, you have rights. I'm okay you're okay..But as a Christian my concern would be the freedom to oppose unethical advancements.

Well if you can stifle the competition, why not do it to them, before they do it to you?
I'm not a social Darwinist myself, but they are definitely more fit to survive in this world than egalitarian-minded folk like me!
