I don't know a lot about Buddhism history, tradition, etc. Can anyone enlighten me (no pun intended) on the historical and religious aspects of the various sects of Buddhism, or anything to do with Buddhism for that matter? I am doing research.

i am in primary 5 now and my teacher asked me to skip primary 6 and she wants me to go secondary 1 the next year she gave me an option either i should skip or not.my friend still does not know these problem yet.should i tell them? should i skip primary 6?i will miss my friends what should i do?i know there`s 2 ways the first one is i can email them but these would not help any because they don`t have a computer.they can`t affort to buy it.the second one is to meet them some where,but i don`t have anytime to do these.pls help!!!i will be going to methodist girls high school after that.my teacher have ask me to skip one time which i was in primary 1,immediately i have skip to primary 3 i have miss my friends.should i just skip again? i got good result in all the subject in school ,because of that so i have to skip one level and i wouldn`t saw my friends anymore.thanks

I was lulled into a fasle sense of sercurity! I saw the new song "Right were you want me" by Jesse Mccarthy, and thought " Well, It must be ok becasue he has done some songs for disney before, and his new orignal album can't be too bad" I listened to the song and I though that some of the lyrics sounded funny, but he said him too fast to tell. Then I read somewhere that this song has very " Suggestive" lyrics,. I was like "What?", I went on a lyrics site and looked it up, and It did have suggestive lyrics. I HATE listening to songs like that (I feel it warps your mind). Has anyone else had something like this happen to them? and what is the best way to get over it?

I am going to file for divorce soon from my verbally/emotionally abusive husband. We live together although he has not paid our mtg for 4 months. So eventually we won't have a home and he tells me he won't give me anything until the courts make him. I'm wondering if I should leave first before filing or file and see if the judge makes him pay for the house. I was planning on staying until I had to leave for one because I really don't have anyone to help me move a of yet (I've left before and they're skeptical). Also, I am not really looking forward to living with my mom( privacy issues, not being the woman of my own home, etc). Also her neighborhood is l bit rougher than mine (we currently live in a good neighborhood in the burbs). I don't know how he'll react because Iknow he doesn't think I'll actually do it.

I have 2 turtles and i never see them eat. i got them the floating pellets from walmart. i don't know if they are eating and i'm not seeing it or what.. they were a gift to me and i'm trying to learn more about how to proper take care of them...also since they are just babies do they need less water in their tank i have just an inch of water now becuase when i put more water in they stay on the rock that put in there and they won't get in the water unless its shallow. also what wattage of the UV lamp do i need to have for them...since they are only babies and do i need to be giving them vitatmins or something i read somewhere about a calcium thing you put in the water and it disolves but i'm lost...please help me they are adorable but i want to do this right...oh and how do i keep down the risk of me gettin salmonela besides washing my hands after I handle them...thank you thank you, thank you!!!
