I have a report to do on nonverbal communication, so I've decided to do clothing. I want to know if you choose a specific clothing style, and why you choose it. I have a "brother" i have been trying to help. I am now in UK and he also now wants to come, but his family is assholes and couldnt care bout him. I said it would take me a while, and now he not interested in even talking to me and does not have the decency to answer calls or anything, and it actually hurts because been looking after him back home for the last 4 years - now I here and he cuts me cold. Only time he calls is when he needs something to be sent to him - he 18 !

We saw what North Korea does when it gets its missile program running. Do these people forget we are more civilized and humane than these Islamic countries that want to wipe out countries?

Iran has stated it wants to destroy Israel, would it then be OK to give them a nuclear bomb?
U.S. has thousands of nukes. They could end the Iraq problem with one stroke if they wanted to. And yet we're warmongers.

Why is it people cannot understand these basic realities? We are more humane. We have control. These countries want to destroy the West and Israel and if they got nukes what would be holding them back? They support terrorists, they could give a suicide bomber one and boom. Millions dead.

What's the difference to a suicide bomber: A bomb killing 20 people or a nuclear bomb going out wiping a city off the map?

Would people be complaining about Iran not having nukes then?

no, people would be complaining saying why Bush didn't stop them from having nukes and he's evil.

I got in a fight with my boyfriend last night. I was already upset at my mom when he called and i tried to talk to him about it and let's just say he was distracted... he kept talking to someone else in the room, so i hung up on him. Then i called his friend because i really needed to talk to someone and he was like "tell her i'm mad at her" and i was "whatever i don't care" and then i talked to his friend for a long time (his friend is my best friend for over 10 yrs.) Well after we talked my friend asked if i wanted to talk him and i was like ya if he wants to talk. Well my boyfriend said he'd call me back after the movie he was watching and then asked for the phone and just hung up on me. He never called. I was mad because i really needed to talk and he wasn't listening, but he's making me feel like i should apologize... Then he never called. I mean this shouldn't be THAT big of a deal right? i need advice on what to do? should i call? or wait for him to call?

With winter coming up soon, here in the midwest, I am going to ask the question: Does Setting Back the Thermostat in the Winter Really Save Energy?

According to the DOE and EnergyStar, it does. But I, and others, disagree to a point. That point being, "doesn't it take MORE energy to REWARM the house back to the COMFORT TEMP when you're home?" So in other words, does it take more energy to bring the temperature from 62 to 68, for example, rather than maintaining the temperature at 68 the entire time when the house is vacant?

I need solid proof energy is saved with the EnergyStar compliant thermostats, not just what the websites say. If anyone has any experience or tests, I would like to hear what they have to say. Thanks!
