I'd have to say that there are a group of top dogs, people whose money and power tell our leaders what to do, start wars, manipulate other countries leaders, execute those who threaten to expose them or their secrets, control the mainstream media, know the truth about e.t.'s and what really happened at roswell. Usually all you have to do is follow the money trail--figure out who stands to gain the most and why. Ask yourself why on earth would we want a global economy that does nothing but destroy wages and the middle-class? Why should someone be able to be so rich that their next ten generations of heirs will never have to work--ever--and yet there are so many poor peoples in the world that can't even feed themselves. Why can't every American receive at least basic health care without the threat of being bankrutpted by the medical bill. Don't you feel that your life plays out in such away that between work--the bills you must pay that your just caught up in maintaining a standard of living? You don't have time to ask questions of our gov't, rally, march on DC, or take a vacation. Are you being manipulated and just think--that's life? Alas, all is not lost--free speech, political will, and voting out useless incumbents and republicans this Nov. will hopefully jumpstart the answer process to your questions.

The present World order is run by money men and isn't worth a toss. Whoever controls the purse strings controls the world. The arms dealers are making a fortune from the two main wars and they have to get rid of their out of date weapons, war is their way of doing this.We live in a capitalist world my friend where only money talks......

If you're talking politics and international relations, then we certainly live in a Pax Americana! And Bush sucks, but most problem for the next milennia will be oil-rich Middle East, and I'm not sure that anyone will solve the problems there in the best way until we all become unreliant on their oil.......

But luckily a lot of decisions are made multilaterally, so we all get our say (well, thats if you're a member of the UN or NATO!!)

Present world order?.. Organised chaos
Who's in charge?.. Lunatics... I love a good joke like the rest but George Dubya Bush is just not funny any more. As for 'One people'? Fine as long as you're white, rich, an oil baron, and your outlook is to keep everybody else starved or terrorised til they kill themselves or each other.

Multi national companies rule the roost, as they pay the politicians back pockets in many countries. Look at John Prescotts `holiday,' in the usa in relation to the casino application for the millenium dome. Money talks louder than integrity!

As normal, he who pays the piper calls the tune, IE if you have plenty of money politicians will listen to you and do what you want. If you are poor, tough you do what they want. I am afraid that the status quo the world is in at the moment is going to be the same for the foreseeable future, unless the powers that be want it different (no chance in hell).
