i am trying to find out how much it will cost about to put carpet in an average size room approx13 by 17. i just want middle of the roead carpet, but does anyone have a guess?

I'm sure you are familiar with the term "drive-by shooting". There are innocent victims of these shootings all the time.

Think about it....a gang member drives down the street and shoots into a house and a random bullet richochets and changes directions. At that EXACT second, a 4 year old child runs accross the room to get a toy and the bullet strikes and kills him.

Had the child or the shooter started 1 second sooner or later then the results would have been different and the child wouldn't have been shot.

If God knew IN ADVANCE that this child was going to die from a stray bullet, on that day, at that particular second in time......

.....then how could that child or that shooter have made a DIFFERENT choice????

Could they make a different choice than the choice god knew they would make?????

I'll admit it, I'm in a bad mood. Some jacka** on this website really riled me up today and I'm probably suffering from a bit of PMS. That being said, I'd like to toss something out there and would really appreciate feedback from intelligent people (intelligent meaning an I.Q. of at least 110 or 120 -- the higher the better).

What is happening to America?

I just took a look around and realized that the majority of the people in this country are seriously lacking brain power (as is evidenced by many of the Q & A's on this website).

Is it just me, or is the intelligence of our society rapidly declining? People just seem all too willing to run their mouths off in support of idiotic ideals and when you call them on it, they have absolutely no good answers to give you.

So... do you think the idiots of the world are just breeding faster than those of us with higher intelligence or is there something in the air?

Okay, I've asked a couple questions recently asking Creationists to explain what, exactly, they didn't believe happened that evolutionists believe did. Most were either unable or unwilling to do so, but - in addition to people castigating me for being "superior" and "arrogant" and "condescending" - I did get some cogent answers, some of which really came close and one or two that actually taught me a thing or two. (Contrary to popular belief, I was not trying to be a wiseass, but trying to understand how rational thinking people could dismiss something that makes so much sense to me).

So, in the spirit of furthering my understand, would those of you who understand evolution (meaning that if you wonder why there are still monkeys, you do not qualify) and believe in Creationism, would you please explain to me what made you come to that conclusion?

Certain behaviors are instinctual:
* Eating is an instinct
* Avoiding death is an instinct
* Reproducing is an instinct

Every animal follows its instincts, but humans have the ability to transcend theif instincts. Humans have the opportunity to take their fate into their own hands, unlike animals who are strictly limited to following the instincts they were born with.

When you perform behavior dictated by your genes, is that you acting, or is it some other force commanding you to act in a certain way? Is it really your will when you have no choice over it?

Most people live for their families, that is they get their meaning in life by following their instinct to pass on their genes. This is best characterized as their selfish genes acting to make sure that the genes survive.

When you reach the end of your life, and upon reflection, decide that you only followed the behavior pattern dictated by your genes, only acted instinctually, will you have lived a meaningful life?

my right breast is so tender and my nipple [only right side] is in pain like stabbing sensation and my breast is gonna explode [this pain is so annoying!!!!]. my period is due soon should be around 29th or 30th. usually never like this only tender breasts and lost my appetite too. im regular, btw. have u ever been like this? or just me?

im a bit nervous waiting for my period. because ive been stressing about i would be pregnant or not.

i didnt have any intercourse but my bf did finger me. but we were just french kissing then he fingered me. im so paranoid. it should be nothing. yeah, i know about sex education, so dont need to lecture me about that. im just easily to get panic and paranoid.
