I think that one of the drugs I was on for allergies was making me depressed. I was overeating uncontrollably, sleeping constantly, and feeling extremely depressed. Even people at my work and my family commented on my mood changes. Once I realized what it was, I stopped taking the medication, and I have been feeling better since.
Lately, however, I have been having trouble sleeping. I was sleeping soundly 9-10 hours per night. Now I can't fall asleep, sleep lightly, and wake up at 3am every morning, wide awake.
I feel like I may be depressed, but I am not sure if maybe it is just stressed.
What other syptoms should I be looking for.
I am going to the doctors in a few weeks, and I am wondering if I should mention this.
How do I approach it? I am comfortable with my doctor, but I just don't really know what to say.

Is the US headed?

Over the past two decades the United States has grown more and more complacent with foreign policies and interest than that of its own need to take care of its self. Over that same time period the citizens have grown frustrated at the sight of its freedoms diminish and its economy dying among so many other things.

Is the U.S headed for another civil war of sorts?

Could the U.S government foresee this becoming a possibility and thus be a part of the reason to why more and more we are becoming a policed state? As well as to why 9/11 occurred?

has anyone exerienced this feeling during pregnancy?

I've been having some sharp pains on my side to lower end of my stomach like say if you were running and you got a cramp from jogging. I'm not sure if it's worth worrying about or not. Plus last night I had discharge that looked yellowish and like a big clump of jelly I know it wasn't my mucus plug but I can't remember when I was pregnant with my son during my last pregnancy if they said it was part of the cervix.

And the reason I haven't called my doctor yet is b/c I have to go see him tomorrow in the morning and I'm not feeling like waiting for a phone call back for hours if I'm just over worrying.

Good investment tracking software?

I own a number of stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs through Schwab, which I follow on Schwab's website. But I'd like to get a more sophisticated tool, something that allows me to download price and volume data onto my own computer, so I can generate lots of charts and do a bit of technical analysis. I'm definitely not a day trader, but I'd like to do more of the "buy and hold for a few weeks then sell" style of trading. Plus, it would be useful to keep tabs on my various buys and sells, so I can easily compute how much profit or loss I've made on a given position. I've done things like buy 1000 shares of XYZ, then later sell 300 shares of XYZ, then later buy 200 shares of XYZ. Can anyone recommend a good software tool for this? I don't mind paying for it, if it fits my needs.

Do you feel the standard of beauty has become too homogenized?

With shows like the lamentable "The Swan" I feel that beauty has become pinpointed to such a small grouping of socially acceptable features so that having an "ethnic" nose, a gap in the teeth, or small breasts is mocked and belittled (no pun intended.) Comments?

Why are adult men so childish?

My husband is 50 and does the most childish things when he is mad at me. Today he took his motorcycle to work since he knows I hate it. (another story, another time). But to ride it, he had to warm it up and we live on a cul-de-sac. Wonder how the neighbors liked that at 5:45am. Why do they do this kind of childish retribution?
