invite her to go with you. if she does, she can see it's harmless (if it is) and will possible ease up next time.

Just tell her what you want! Say something like i just want to go to the pub to watch some football and I'll be back in a little while! I know that i would want my husband to have a little bit of time with friends or on his own! i hate sports but he loves it and sometimes you just want to do things on your own! I love my husband with all my heart but i don't want to watch football and he doesn't want to go shopping! You can still love each other without doing everything together!

Why don't you just level with her and tell her you enjoy drinking and watching the game with friends...that this is your personal time with male friends...or take her. She just feels left out. Tell her that you understand why she doesn't want you to go without her but that this is your personal time. Ask her to give you some ideas on ways to make her feel better about it. Include her. She doesn't want to sit at home alone. Just like you don't want to sit at home and watch the game.Maybe get her to invite friends over for a ladies night the night you go watch football. Then another night the 2 of you can go out together

I don't know why guys don't know the answer to this. First you make sure you have the most awesome sex you can before the game is going to start. I mean you do EVERYTHING to please her and don't worry about getting yours. Then hand her some money and say "here baby, go buy something sexy for yourself" she's happy, and not at home to nag and you get to go watch the game, you come back home tipsy and she's found something sexy which she'll be modeling for round 2.

A woman tries to change about a man the VERY THING that she loves the most! If you allow her to change you, she will lose respect...And when respect is gone, the love is doomed!!
If you allow her 'nagging' to change your behavior, you will be REWARDING her for bad behavior!!...Another thing you don't want to do!!
Just GO TO YOUR PUB!!...If she nags when you return, LEAVE AGAIN!!...If she leaves you, GOOD RIDDANCE, because if you had given in, she would have left you anyway!

Explain to her that this is something you want to do on your own ( we all need our own space) and that is she really wants to come she can, but you wont be taking a lot of notice of her while the football is on.. and that you will take her out for dinner another night to make up! :)
