My husband is 50 and does the most childish things when he is mad at me. Today he took his motorcycle to work since he knows I hate it. (another story, another time). But to ride it, he had to warm it up and we live on a cul-de-sac. Wonder how the neighbors liked that at 5:45am. Why do they do this kind of childish retribution?

Guess I touched a few nerves on this one. The responses I got from many of the men just proved my point. No where in my question did I say I was pissed off or annoyed. Thanks for proving my point.

I bet more than half the women in America would like the answer to that question. Having four boys of my own, and then throwing in my husband, it sometimes seems as though I have five beasts under one roof. I've thought about your question and the best I can come up with is that I think they are re-living their youth. When boys are younger, they are told to grow up and act more responsible. If they were brought up with strict parents, any childish behavior was deemed "not being a man", so they supressed it until mom and dad were no longer telling them what to do and then expect us to deal with it. I do know one thing, if you complain about it, he's going to know it angers you and it's going to continue. Instead, guilt him. Women are so much better at manipulation than men. So when he comes home tonight, tell him that because of his little tirade with his bike this morning, he woke up some of the neighbors and you had to do damage control after he left. Tell him it's fine to be mad at you, but next time show some consideration for the neighbors. Hopefully that should do it. And if that don't work, get even....hide the motorcycle key, and when he starts asking you where it is, tell him "you had it last".

Not all men do childish things like that.their are a few of us out there that respect our neighbors and will talk things out before acting like an idiot.

But if your neighor revved up a bike at 5:45 AM ,what would he say? Next time he has any complaint, laugh. PS I have a "man" very much the same way,he is 45.

Because thats just in the mans nature. You know that. Playing little games to piss u off even more. Dont even worry about it,,if he wants to act like a baby let him. Act like it doesnt bother you in the least. They never grow up in different ways.

I don't usually answer these questions seriously, I just laugh at men most of the time....but I think God made them that way on purpose...we are caregivers and they are children...thats why we love them and want to take care of their dumb asses. And I don't know about you but when I get mad, I ....occasionally....have been accused of being childish.

They never grow up, its like their penis, after a certain age, it stops growing, their brain just ceases to develop new and definately useful information. I think after a very young age, guys quit growing up, they just get beer bellies and make maybe a 1,000.00 more a year than they did working at mcdonalds :)

jajjajja, I know what you talking about.....more older they are more juvenile they feel I think like the women the guys got the andropause so they whant to be young again or at least they still waht to believe they are you have to have patience,,,,,,nothing else
