I jumped off of a rock one night and instead of landing on my feet i landed on the toes of one foot. I hyperextended my ankle outward, and i heard a pop sound. I was all right to walk, so i did, but my ankle hurt for a while, like a month and a half, but not too bad unless i twisted my foot inward. However, even a few weeks after my ankle stopped hurting so much, if i accidentally sat on it, like on my knees with my feet underneath me or something, it started hurting really bady. Then i did the same thing to my other foot but much less when i slipped in a hole on the grass. That foot continued to hurt if i sat cross legged for too long, or fell and either landed with my foot flat on its front or tried to get up using leverage from a similar position. It hurt like around my ankle, like right below it. I'm just curious, does anyone know what i could have done to it?
