Last year I sent my resume to a company, I got an interview and past some tests. They said they will callme back, now after one year they call me back, got a second interview and they said i was a very strong candidate, and do those test again. At first I was very interested, but after one year, my job expectation have change and I feel very comfortable with my actual job? How can I decline to keep going with this selection process? Any idea?
Thanks!

Simply say you have found gainful employment and are no longer interested. Thank you for the consideration.

Happened with a few jobs I applied for that weren't exactly as advertised.

Keep it nice, and short... so if you do every need to apply there again you will still have a chance.

Basically the same as everyone else; thank them for keeping you in their file and contacting you again.

But that upon further consideration, you find that you must offer your regrets, and decline at this time as you have become employed since the first interview, and are very satisfied with the current situation.

Mention also however that you are flattered that they remembered you, and would be pleased to re-apply should your current situation change. You may also offer to provide them with a referral if you know someone fit for the job. But that's up to you.

Tell them you've found a job, you were interested AT THE TIME you applied, but it's been ONE YEAR and your situation has changed. You don't want to work for a company that takes a year to make you an offer. If you still need a job after a year, you must not be very good, so why would they want you?

Just tell them that after one year your job expectations have changed and you're no longer looking for a different career opportunity at this time. Thank them for contacting you and if you want them to ask them to keep your resume on file in case something else comes up cause you never know what may happen in the future. Just be honest. I would appreciate an honest answer like that if I were them. :)

You Can tell the fact to them that you have got an alternate job already and your have settled there. Also tell that you are not interested to have changes often and unable to accepted their offer which has come very late.

But you have put it very politely in a polished way.

After a YEAR?! How rude of them!
They shouldn't be surprised or offended if you decline. Be as polite as possible though- you never know when you might need to go back.
Write them a nice email or letter, say thank you for their continued interest, but that you are currently employed elsewhere.

Tell them that you already have a very good job and the only way you would consider working for them is if there was going to be significant pay raise and let them make an offer. Let them decide what significant is.

Just give them a call and thank them for their interest, but let them know that events over the intervening year have changed what it was you were looking for and that you now feel that this job would not be a good "fit" for you.

It's an honest, up-front and respectful way of letting them know.

Tell them

I'm sorry but my situation has changed since we began the process a year ago. Thank you for taking time to considering me for the position but I must respectfully decline at this time.

Sincerely,
