I have a probelm with AP English. From day one, my teacher's been emphasizing how "brutal" the class will be. She keeps recommending some students to drop the class, she says "it's a very mature decision". I thought I would do well in that class, I thought I did well on a test, but I didn't and I am so shocked and I think she looked dissapointed too. She doesn't seem to give me a direct answer, but from the way it looks, it doesn't seem like she's too keen for me to stay. I've been in MYIB (middle years IB) as a freshman, and I know what it means to take tough classes, but now I'm scared this is going to the maximum level. I do not want to pass a class with a D or a C because frankly, I've never recieved and never want to recieve a D, and as far as a C, I REALLY want to get into an Ivy League, and a C will look far from good. I don't want to take a regular class, but this may be the only option I'm left with. I do hope to take the AP test but as far as the class goes, I'm unsure. help?
