I had an interview with a company last week, they sent me to interview with 4 other people plus sent me for a drug test and did a backround check. and called my references. I called to see if they had made a decision yet and the women was out sick. When I did speak to her the other person involved was out sick and they had not spoke. I want to call again but Im afraid if I call again I will look desperate. I really want this job. What do you think?

The media was very quick to go after the Bush administration about the leaks in the Valerie Plame case. Though they also went after the one reporter (Novak) who reported the leak they did not report on the overall problem of the press itself broadcasing and sensationalizing classified information. If they are going to come down hard on Bush for this (and if it was so imortant and damaging to Mrs. Plame), they should also come down hard on themselves for the whole thing.

I know this guy who's pretty messed up in the head about his father figure dying of cancer. This is perfectly understandable seeing as I lost my mother figure to cancer as well. I understand why he's aloof and moody right now because he's acting just like I did back when I was dealing with such a thing. While I know and understand at this time (2 years later) how I dealt with and acted to such an awful experience, I was just wondering if men react differently seeing as our emotional openness and such are so different between men and women. Just curious!!

My husband's aunt called us worried last night, she says she needs $$$$$ cash fast. She got evicted from her house she was renting and the previous landlord still wanted the 3,000.00 to pay for all the fees and back rent. So, she in return, wants to borrow 300.00 from us and pay her own attorney to counter sue. Here is my drama: What if she loses the case? After all 300.00 is only to start her case with her own attorney. I asked my husband's family about her, and they all said that she wont pay me back. She has a bad rep with them, when it comes to money. Her husband refuses to get a job and is always mad at her for not getting a job, her husband pretty much takes advantage of the state and collects disability. But, they have 2 beautiful girls, and she makes me feel bad for her kids. Keep in mind that me and my hubby are still newlyweds, but I love his family like they were my own.

I am a final year student who came from hong kong and I hold a british citizen passport. I came here for six years already however I always fly back to hongkong during holidays(summer, easter, Xmas) in the first four years of ''residence''. Therefore I didn't really need/have a permanent place/address to stay at that time since I only stays at boarding house during term time plus I have no relatives/friends who lives in england at the time.

I have been paying international fees for two years(which is hack a lot of money!) I am now trying to convince the university that I am a local student with the uk passport, however I could not provide a permanent address which I have to prove I stayed there for three years pior to the start of the course!

I would very apprieciated if anyone could help!

"Hi..... i saw sitting there from across the street.....You looked so beautiful..that I just had to give you these flowers"

and then walk away.....hoping for that call...

My husband's step-family is Mormon, but he was not raised Mormon.

His step-cousins all got married around 17 and had children immediately after.

Most of them are in their early to mid 20's with 3-5 children each.

All of their friends are the same, none of them went to college or got jobs, they just graduated high school and got pregnant.

Why does it seem like many Mormons have a lot of children so young?

Why does it seem like many Mormons don't value education or living independently without a spouse at 18?

I love children a lot too, family is extremely important to me, but I moved out at 18, got a job, went to college and had fun and now I am planning my first baby at 25.

(And I didn't sleep around, do drugs, drink, etc. I have only had one sexual partner and that's my husband!)

Can someone explain this to me?
