i am an Engineering student from india in my final yr of B.Engg. with major in Electronics and communications.

My GRE score is 1330 (Verbal 540/ Quantitative 790).. i'm waiting for the writing sections score to come...
my percentage till now is 65%

- i wanted to know of good universities in Canada which offer MS ( Electronic/Computer Science)...?

- whether GRE is nescessary for applying...??
- which other exams should i have to take...??
- when do i start applying?
- and most importantly... is Canada a good option compared to US?

It isn't necessary for people to accept the poor quality of music (?) being produced today. In the last ten years, the quality of top 40 music, rock and roll, whatever genre you want to call it, has steadily deteriorated. I want to be able to listen to good music on the radio again, don't you? I know you people have strong feelings about this, so let me know how you feel. And, please, let's have decent, intelligent responses to this.

I'm really not into weddings and I am getting married (obviously). I have been really relaxed about everything and haven't done anything to make my fiance crazy. I did however, ask specifically that he not ask his one friend to be in his wedding party because the guy is a jerk off and has done a lot of bad things to try to break us up. Just the other night his wonderful friend said the wedding probably wont even happen. My fiance said he's just jealous of us. Still am I wrong not wanting him in it? I mean this a hole is his friend and it's his day too, I'm just so worried now this guys is going to do something to ruin the day. Any advice or opinions?

when i was a little girl i was really attracted to a cartoon character, i thought he was really handsome.
I was about 7 i think, anyway i had visions of marrying this character from my fav cartoon, but there was a problem(well quite a few actually) you see the cartoon was called DOGTANIAN and the muskahounds - yes you got it- the Character was a DOG.
The one i fancied was a sort of spaniel one i think?

The good news is that i am not attracted to cartoon characters of any species now, but it bothers me how weird i was.
Should i have been sectioned? Should i have confessed?

They say the Sunbelt is so much better as far as weather and everything. Then, the question becomes, if the weather is so much better, then why are all these retractable roofed, air conditioned stadiums being built in the South? (Houston, Phoenix, and even Miami is planning a new one)

I heard that Minnesota is planning to build an open air baseball stadium to replace the Metrodome. MN will get really cold for those early Spring games. We know they wouldn't even consider building a total open air stadium in Houston (those Houstonians are addicted to a/c).

Another thing I can't understand is why the Astros field is closed when the temperature is above 80 degrees. I consider 85 degrees and sunny to be perfect "baseball weather". It gets much warmer than 80 degrees in the North and most people up there don't complain.

I guess my question is "Why are all these retractable stadiums being built in the South if the South is such a much better climate than the North?"

I think eating chicken is disgusting! I like chicken, but I like chicken, but I like chicken breast and nuggets. I think it's so gross to have to scratch the meat of the bone, and the get all of one's hands greasy, and see people lick their fingers. I can't eat buffalo wings, I really hate to see other people suck on the bone for the juices. I can eat boneless buffalo wongs, but the whole sucking on the bones, and scratching for meat with your teeth is just gross.

Anyone else feel the same?
