I'm really not into weddings and I am getting married (obviously). I have been really relaxed about everything and haven't done anything to make my fiance crazy. I did however, ask specifically that he not ask his one friend to be in his wedding party because the guy is a jerk off and has done a lot of bad things to try to break us up. Just the other night his wonderful friend said the wedding probably wont even happen. My fiance said he's just jealous of us. Still am I wrong not wanting him in it? I mean this a hole is his friend and it's his day too, I'm just so worried now this guys is going to do something to ruin the day. Any advice or opinions?

Someone who is not wishing you well on your wedding should not be in the wedding party. Its not just about having your best friends parade across the alter, its about a support group of people there to help you and wish you well.

If your guy's worth it, just grin and bear it. But, you will have the last word. Think of how wonderful it's gonna be when you let your "husband" know, "honey, I know he's your friend and I'm not going to get in between you two, but I'll tell you this-he WILL NOT disrespect me in my own home, so he's not to step foot anywhere in the general vicinity of our house" Put your foot down and keep it down. And, put some of YOUR friends & relatives on notice about this idiot, so if he even TRIES to do or say anything out of pocket-someone will already have your back and toss his ignorant *** out of the wedding. Thats rude of your fiance and the guy. Tell your fiance again to find someone else. If he doesn't tell the guy yourself you don't want him in your wedding. It will put a damper on your whole day if you don't like someone who is there "celebrating" with you.

if your fiance knows that he's trying to break you guys up why would he possibly want him in the wedding? If your fiance really cares about you he would find someone else.

That would be bad luck to me. Someone who does not support your marriage need not be there. Talk to your fiance. If he still insists, let it be but, if the jerk does anything to wreck your day, knock his @ss out!!

I say suck-it-up. Besides, what better revenge for someone who tried to break you two up, than to have him witness your marriage up close?
In fact you might even get to throw a little smirk his way when you two make it official.
But most importantly, you're marrying the man you love. You can't help his friends. Just enjoy your day (and the rest of your lives...)

Anyone that doesn't support the two of you, shouldn't be in the wedding, let alone invited period!!!! Stick to your guns and talk to your fiance.

Be respectful towards him (only when he is to you)and kill him with kindness but for the most part ignore him and any stupid things or stuff he says. If he ruins your day kill him with a knife(or gun)!!!
