I have always slept very soundly. For the past 2 or more years I was on Klonopin for anxiety. The Klonopin became an addiction for my body and I stopped taking it with the assistance of doctors and I took their advice to a "T". Now my body is off of this drug and I can't get a good nights rest. (Yes, there is still anxiety, however it has only improved since getting off of this.) It has been roughly 2 weeks since I have slept without the help of a sleeping aid (either over the counter or prescription). I do not want to become addicted to a pill for sleep. I have tried the warm milk, I have exercised my body into the state where I should literally not be able to move my body, I have sprayed lavendar scents, I have axed the TV at night and opted for dark and quietness, I have tried deep breathing. I am looking for an out-of-the-box idea. FYI, I am going to see my doctor for this problem, however that won't be possible for at least another week, so in the mean time, I'm asking for ideas.
