I would like to transfer video from a video camera onto a dvd/cd what is the quickest way to do this? I would also like to use my dvd/cd burner to make several copies what is the best type of disk should i use. Thanks

It depends on what you indend to do with the copies from the tapes. The quickest way to do this with acceptable quality is buy a DVD recorder\player. The transferring time is the length of the video without much editing.

If you want to make copies you would have to do it again via the camcorder. So I think you need to buy a DVD drive for your computer and with the right software you can make a copy. Unless you purchase the DVD recorder\player with a hard drive and it can make copies.

I like Ritek brand of DVD and CD. They are made by Ridata, they also manufacture for other name brands

i have a sony mini video cam it has a cd that contains its driver and burn sortware i also used nero 7 premium sofware
