I don't understand how eternal marriage can be believed?

On the mormon website it says "The Bible and the Book of Mormon are the word of God." It also says they believe in eternal marriage ( http://www.mormon.org/learn/0,8672,1597-1,00.html ) and quote Matthew 16:19: "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

But if you read in six chapters later in Matthew 22:29-30 it says:
" Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven"

That is a contradicting in beliefs. So as I see it - you either believe the bible or something that man came up with (like the book of mormon).

Why claim to believe the bible? When it comes down to it - you have to choose between the two books.

How do i tell someone that i want to remove them from my friend list w/o hurting their feeling?

okie here is the story, i accidentally add this girl to my friend list, i thought she is okie to be friend with by reading her blog, she seems nice, but after i added her to my friend list, she changed, she cussed alots and wrote some nasty stuff about sex in her blog, i'm not discriminated her, but since i'm a good christain girl i just can't imagine myself being her friend anymore :( awwww i'm sad, hurt, i feel betray :( please help me, i don't want to be cruel by just remove her from my friend list without letting her know :(

What if my Tubes are blocked....?

I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, and I am going to my Doctor to try to become pregnant..He is setting me up an appointment to have dye injected and x-ray taken to see if my tubes are blocked...if they are what can they do if anything to unblock them so I can hopefully become pregnant?

Supporting troops?

Has anyone ever heard anyone say they support troops then say "but i dont support..." usually they say war but it could be a few other things? did it ring in your brain? like there was something not so good about it? do you think that if you dont support what our troops do then you are not supporting the troops?
do you also feel uncontrolable rage towards people saying these things? or like michael moore, does he make you angry? do you feel like his only hope is suicide? if so say something about it, and go 2 points while your at it.

What do you do when your spouse still wants to party and you would rather stay home with the kids?

I'd like to go out, but his ideas of a good time haven't changed, and mine have. I still like to have fun, but doing things like movies, eating out, etc...He would rather find the nearest party.

Social security is not deducted from paycheck?

I have just observed that my social security statement shows 0's for the past few years. I am surprised toknow that nothing is being dedcuted from my paycheck for social security and medicare. what should I do now? some say to check with my employer and some other say to enjoy with what ever u save today as we don't know what happens to these benefits after 30 years. what do u think?
