Last year a friend booked a holiday for her and her boyfriend. He let her down and rather than her lose the holiday I offered to go in his place. I paid her for the ticket and spent the week really putting her and her feelings first so she would enjoy what was meant to be her 40th birthday celebration. Now, one year later she has asked me to give her another £180 as this is what it cost to change the names on the ticket. She never told me this at the time, I wouldnt have gone if she did and she knows that, which is probably why she didnt say anything. Is it fair that I should have to pay for the name change as well as paying the full price of the ticket in the first place? I only went as I felt sorry that she had been so badly let down and didnt want her to lose the price of the holiday. Just for the record, this lady could buy and sell me 10 times over.

I tried to clean my ears last night after showering with the Q-tip.

Suddenly, I found out the cotton ball is left inside my ear.

My wife tried very hard to get it out for me but failed.
She said she could see it but just could not get it out.

Does anybody have any idea of how to get it out?

i moved to Washington in tyne and wear nearly 5 months ago and i have not managed to speak to anyone yet. I have 4 children the youngest being only 8 weeks old so i can't go anywhere alone like the gym or college. I go to the library and the park and see other mums but the most i ever manage to say is "awww your babys lovelly, how old?" then they answer and thats it. it's pathetic. i feel so depressed. i'm only 25 i am married but i'm so bored everywhere i go i see girls together laughing and gossiping. i miss that soooooooooo much. okay.. im 16 and theres this boy that i really like and he really likes me too.. BUT.. he has a girlfriend!!! they were recently on a break and he said that i could meet up with him and go for a few drinks in town but we couldn't get in touch.. then i just found out that he is back with his girlfriend but he says that he doesn't want to be with her.. and he said that i can meet him this weekend for the drink he said we could have last weekend, he is STILL with his girlfriend now (she doesn't know me by the way) and wants to meet up with me and "stuff" and says that nobody will find out.. what should i do????
