I am considering purchasing a British Sci Fi Series only available as a Region 2 release. I want to buy them to basically copy them into Region 1 DVDs. Will I run into any issues because of the source DVD being PAL and Region 2? I have alot of experience backing up my own movies, but I have not attempted this sort of endeavor.

Please respond only if you have knowledge or experience with this. Not to be rude, but I have had way too many people answering my questions who don't have a clue and are flat out wrong!

Pronounce Hyundai as 'hun-day', are they incapable of seeing that there is a 'y' in there, hence it is pronounced "He-un-day"??? It really frustrates me for some odd reason...lol

Also, for the Australian's who pronounce it "Hi-un-die" Please cut it out!
