Is there some cheatin' goin' on somewhere? Let me get my stick.
And the other thing -- the Bible also says that if a man won't work, don't feed him. That would pretty much take care of the Welfare problem.
These seem like sturdy arguments and good lessons to me.
The cheatin' man is goin' to hell in a hand basket, and his business will not prosper. At least, not if he has an Christians as customers or employees, or Christians that actually live what they say they believe and practice these lessons.

While Jesus was on Earth as a human, the usual Christan belief is that he had voluntarily 'turned off' his own divine powers and abilities as 'God the Son', part of the triune God, including omniscience (Philippians 2:7). Jesus was correct in admitting that he did not know, the miracles and knowledge he demonstrated came from God the Father and what he had learnt from the scriptures. The two quotes from John were spoken by the disciples of Jesus, before his death and Peter, after Jesus had returned to life, Jesus neither confirmed or denied the claim to omniscience made by them. It is not made clear if Jesus had regained his omniscience between resurrection and ascension, it is believed by Christians that Jesus's full divine abilities and power returned (or were returned by God the Father) after his ascension into heaven

The Bible amazes me! You can find any subject in it. It can be very practical. These two verses cover a whole range of situations: from bad employers to bad workers. And it can also be very poetic: "As a hart longs for flowing streams, so longs my soul for thee, O God." Only in God you will be a fair employer and a diligent worker.
Love and Peace to you, too. PS: All over the world the 1st. of May is Labor Day. I think that only in your country is on the 4th. September.

Workers are cheated out of wages because of greedy employers, and employers are cheated out of production due to lazy workers. Both are guilty of sin, but neither one is will to admit it nor seek to resolve the situation; therefore, there will continue to be dishonesty on both sides of the fence. If Both sides would embrace Biblical teachings on honesty and responsibility, then America's work force, and indeed the work force of the world, would be happier, healthier, wealthier and more productive and less wasteful.

Concerning James 5:4, I say " Vengence is mine saith the LORD". And as for Proverbs 10:26, I say Proverbs 16:3 " Commit thy works unto the Lord and they thoughts shall be established". Remember that we are all temporary employees for our employers, however we are permanent employees of the LORD!! God Bless.

"Lack of balance staggers us.To fall is easy.Even so, falling will not help." Either way someone is taken. The owner is unfair and cheats the worker of money. The worker sits idle or takes what he can when no one is looking. Labor Day; what a joke........

Funny qoutes. But a day of rest is very important. Don't be lazy when you work, and be honest.
