Back in the 40s, 50s, etc, all the divas were healthy sizes. Marilyn Monroe was like a 14, which with the update in the clothing sizes chart would be about an 8 today. But today, the toothpick look is in vogue and being a healthy weight is scorned upon, even in Hollywood. Take a look at Kate Winslet who is a healthy size, even though she's considered by many to be extremely fat, compared to say Lindsay Lohan who is known for her drug use as a way to slim down.

Why did we as a society decide that the skeleton look is better and more attractive? It had to originate somewhere or else it wouldn't be as widespread as it is, where young girls don't know any better because their "role models" are almost skin and bones so they feel like they have to do the same or else face ridicule. Look at Karen Carpenter from the 70s who eventually just killed herself from anorexia. I'm honestly curious as to why the healthy look is so taboo anymore?

well i cut myself when i feel any overwelming feeling of sadness, anger, hatred. etc here's one problem i had at school

well I did it cause I was not bored I was totally pissed off at the whole world and in a matter of seconds I had grabbed her scissors and done it and I cried in the girls toilet because I was so upset that I had done it and I didn't think I would go to that extreme and do something so wacko like what mental peeps do I was scared to think I would do it again and I didn't know how to stop honestly I was like some sicko who didn't know how to deal with her issues.I was a fruit cake, I prayed about it and it didn't work it’s like god doesn’t care at all like he hated me. I didn't know what to do so I lied about it...!

I did it again this afternoon because i was stitting in a tree when one of the gals that tease me pushed me down out of the tree and i rolled away and hit my head on a branch and cut it open and sprained my wrist which is now bandaged up. Help am mad!

Hi guys.. I had an accident today. It's my first accident so I don't know what to do... Please help!!

I parked my car on the street (stable). Another car just moved from the driveway of the house. The car's left rear part hit my car's front right part. There's no obvious damage. The lady refused to give me her driver's license no and phone no... I just got her rego. She said she will contact her insurance company.... At that time I was a bit nervous and I said "What can I get" she noted that down and took a couple of pictures....

Can anybody tell me what to do?? I don't have any insurance for my car... How are the insurance company gonna find me? It's obviously her fault but she said she's not gonna discuss that with me... oh gee.... how can someone be that stupid....!!

Also, can someone tell me if I am entitled to any compensation if there's no obvious damage? I kind of twisted my neck... If I go to physiologist, can I claim that back??

The Parable of the Ten Virgins

Let us look at Matthew 25:1-13 from the NIV Bible:

Matthew 25

1. "At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2. Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
3. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
4. The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
5. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6. "At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'
7. "Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.
8. The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'
9. " 'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'
