how i met your mother
and i like 2 1/2 men...
you must be male... guys tend to not like sitcoms... they are not geared towards guys.
the reason you don't count the animated ones as sitcoms is more of because you want to complain. the animated series are geared towards the male population something like 18-35 on most prime time cartoons.

not that i do not trust you yet i imagine there are literally not frequently any humorous sitcoms in any respect anymore. there is in simple terms one sitcom that I watch now and all something else, are all older ones. As for humorous black sitcoms, I nonetheless extremely love residing unmarried, the early Martin episodes and Sanford and Son is classic! you won't be able to ever get more beneficial unique than that!

It wasn't a sitcom, it was a variety show, but I was just thinking today of how much I enjoyed the Carol Burnett show and there are none like it on TV anymore. I loved all the skits she and Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, and Vicki Lawrence did. I wish they would replace one of the
"reality" shows with some really good talent like we saw on Carol's show.

I agree. I don't know whats on the major channels. They want to have investigative type programs an contests. Try the Travel channel, A&E, and History Channel How about sitcom reruns. We American's are hungry for some laughs. WHY CAN"T THEY SEE IT?

PHOENIXHEAT, THANK YOU! I thought Carol was the funniest thing on TV, ever. Better than Lucy, and that's high praise.
Was anything ever better than Tim in the old-man getup, with Harvey as straightman, and Harvey laughing out loud at Tim?
Or Carol doing those takeoffs on the old movies... wonderful.
The last good sitcom was Everybody Loves Raymond, and that's over.
Get rid of your TV.

How about My Name is Earl and How I Met Your Mother.
These are my two favorites.
But, you're right. Not very many good sitcoms on TV.

Not sure I'd classify it as a sitcom - but I've just started watching "Dead like me" on Comedy Central & I love it.

Well, I almost agree after they took Arrested Development off - that show was brilliant. But really, you should give Scrubs a try. It is quite funny.
