I'm thirteen but I wonder how our skin color came to be? One story I heard was a curse, the other my brother told me that in the beginning when everyone spreaded around the earth the people that went to the colder parts were to become white skinned and the people who went to the hotter parts were to become black skinned in time, and I just don't know. Can someone tell me?

I have been approached by my (older) coworker's son. He is married and has 3 beautiful children. So far it has been a note that he left for me and nothing more than that, but I expect him to contact me again within the next few days. I was not attracted to him at all, and he is not my type, but somehow the cliche` "forbidden" idea has gotten to me... now it is sounding better and better. I do NOT want to follow through with it, but I don't have much willpower. If he keeps asking, I am afraid I will become more attracted to him. How can I stop this now?? It's not like I can just call him because I don't want his wife to find out because I don't want to hurt the family....

Ok, stick with me here. I met this girl at camp. She's really cute and we hit it off pretty well. We hung out together a lot and got to know each other pretty well, but before I could tell her how much I like her, camp was over. She lives in NY and I'm in MI, so I probably won't see her anytime soon. Still, I cant get over her. I have her e-mail, IM and address and she did give me her picture.One of my friend's who was there said I missed all kinds of hints, at that she has a crush on me. I find it hard to believe, because she'd normally be out of my league. Another friend said I'm playing it right. Truth is, I'm pretty mixed up. What are some of the things I might have missed if she is really into me? What should I do from here. I really don't want to jeprodize our friendship, but I really care about her.

I was reading and responding to this question and a lot of people say it's illegal to shoot a feral cat that ventures into your property and causes trouble. I remember reading this incident on Pet-abuse.com that said otherwise and the cops said a bullet was as humane as euthanization shots. What are people's sources when they say that it is illegal to shot a cat? Is it also illegal to shot a cougar or a coyote? I'm also own a cat but I don't think people should say things which aren't true and frighten others with propaganda.

he made my life miserable, as well as my mothers and sister's life. i am now 28 and i dont see him anymore. my life is still miserable, im depressed, and nothing good ever happens to me.
could this be because i had such a bad childhood that i cant ever be happy. i dont remember anytime in my life where ive felt happy and satisfied with life. what can i do to change this?
