Your body is busy making all the eggs you will have for life, and furiously going through puberty while you are in school and probably a lot of social activities.

The best thing to do is to take vitamins, eat an extremely healthy diet with NO soda, white flour, white rice or other processed foods, plenty of oatmeal, salmon, eggs, vegetables, fresh fruits and milk.

A fruit and yogurt smoothie is a great way to start the day. In a few months, your energy levels will increase and your sleep requirements will decrease.

Nothing at all! That is normal. Teenagers need more sleep than other people. Read this:

Teens
Adolescents need about 8 to 9.5 hours of sleep per night, but many don't get it. And as they progress through puberty, teens actually need more sleep. Because teens often have schedules packed with school and activities, they're typically chronically sleep deprived (or lacking in a healthy amount of sleep).

And sleep deprivation adds up over time, so an hour less per night is like a full night without sleep by the end of the week. Among other things, sleep deprivation can lead to:

decreased attentiveness
decreased short-term memory
inconsistent performance
delayed response time
These can cause generally bad tempers, problems in school, stimulant use, and driving accidents (more than half of "asleep-at-the-wheel" car accidents are caused by teens).

Adolescents also experience a change in their sleep patterns — their bodies want to stay up late and wake up later, which often leads to them trying to catch up on sleep during the weekend. This sleep schedule irregularity can actually aggravate the problems and make getting to sleep at a reasonable hour during the week even harder.

Ideally, a teenager should try to go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning, allowing for at least 8 to 9 hours of sleep.

Nothing is wrong with you. Its normal to sleep for 13 hours. Just keep on sleeping so you feel OK. Maybe you are stressed or angry about something and that is why you are very sleepy. if it gets worse go to a doctor. They might be able to do something .Good luck.

Not a thing. At your age it's normal to sleep alot, as you get older you'll need less sleep. I used to do the same thing. I'd stay up until 2 or 3 in the morning and sleep until around 3 in the afternoon (because someone would wake me up).

you are young so you need to sleep and take advantage of this because when you are grown, you may not have this privilege no more. lol you will be working from 8 to 16 hours looking like a zombie and feeling worn out. also, get blood work from your doctor because you may be anemic and you will need iron pills or a iron shot to give you energy. another thing is that sometimed you may sleep for a long time because you may be pregnant.

You know they say that as a teen you really act like a toddler. Which can mean, that like toddlers, you need a lot of sleep. It's ok. Just be thankful that you are in touch with your body to know what you need. Now the trick is to take care of yourself and give yourself what you need.....13 hours of sleep!
