My dad is already at retire age and does not wish to work. His reserves were used up on buying the house. He doesnt have much to do in his free time and my mum accuses him of gambling. (Actually I dont really believe my mum's word as she never really understood my dad) Whereas my mum doesn't believe that she has enough until the day she dies. So she is working like hell trying to save for her coffin. Both of them dont agree much with each other's philosophy in Life.
My dad is a very sensitive person that he doesnt approach me openly for money. But I do try to give him some when I can afford as I was out of work for sometime.
Soon I'll be getting my new job and I'm wondering which is the best way to help in my parent's financial state.
Please give me your opinion :
1) Give money allowance to my dad and trust him to be sensible.
2) Give money allowance to my mum and hope she shares with my dad.
3) Don't give any large sum of money but pay for the bills instead.

Thanks!

i am in love with a boy & our relationship was very good at the start, since a year now he having doubts on me and blaming me for no reason at all, infact i found out he is very narrow minded & i am just the opposite. i love him truely & ready to do anything for him. He also loves me truely but sometimes when he doubt i just get irritated. Whenever we go out for shopping, he feels that i dont care for him which really hurts me, i sumtimes feel he dont love me truely at all coz every now & then he repeating the same words which hurts me, but still i took him as he is. I feel he is taking revenge of me, and on my face he says he dont believe me nor trust me... many times we fight & argue with each other but soon we are one, he also said get lost from his life but i did not go from him coz i love him & next day he says sori. Now past 2days again he had a fight with me,i said we better take a break for 1 month & said to him i wont sms o call u. How do i make him realize my love for him??

I'm 22yrs old and pregnant with my second child i found out at my 19 week ultrasound my baby has 4 Choroid Plexus Cysts on his brain my husband and i are so scared because they're on both sides of the brain(bilateral) 2 are 0.46cm and the other 2 are 0.43cm. i read on a site for these cysts that any more than 10mm cysts is a worry. i can't sleep or eat and i can't stop thinking about my baby. There is nothing else wrong with my baby according to a normal ultrasound. i saw a gynochologist and she said they should disappear in the next 4 weeks and that these cysts are only small but there is four of them???What if they don't disappear what if they grow larger? She also suggested an amnio but i said no as they can harm the baby when it could be ok anyway. i've had the triple marker test and am waiting for that to come back in 10 days but it's not accurate would a type 2 ultrasound pick up anything different than a normal one?

NEW ORLEANS, United States (AFP) - The chaos following Hurricane Katrina showed millions of Americans that deep racial divides, poverty and racism persist in their country.

Images of seas of black faces begging for help that took days to arrive, and stories of sheriffs from adjacent white suburbs turning desperate evacuees away at gunpoint as they tried to flee New Orleans, horrified the nation.

But for many who grew up in a city that had hosted the slave trade and clung to segregation, the initial shock was transformed into fury that their deepest fears and suspicions were true: the government does not care about black people.

"The racism is so raw here," said Barbara Major, a community activist who co-chaired Mayor Ray Nagin's Bring New Orleans Back commission.

"People were outraged that people were dying. People been dying," she said. "They should have been outraged that children didn't get a decent education. That there wasn't decent housing here (just) like in every other city in the United States."

More than 140 years after the abolition of slavery, and more than 40 years since the passage of the civil rights act, New Orleans remained a highly segregated city. Blacks held significant political power, but economic power remained the domain of whites.

Poverty was widespread, as those educated in crumbling public schools were stuck in the low-wage service sectors that supported the city's massive tourist industry. Drugs, gangs and violence were rampant.

All these years the American Liberals have been providing the terrorist with free propaganda. This has enabled them to focus more on making carbombs, and less time spent making excuses for all their murdering.

It seems to me the Islamist owe the liberals a very big Thankyou!!!

They've been here for many generations --- yet their accent remain very distinct . There are exceptions -- but very few.

Irish, British, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, etc. often lose their accents after the 2nd generation. You wouldn't be able to tell if they were Chinese or British if you talked to them on the phone.

I know people in the South talk a certain way, but the difference is African Americans have a very distinct accent/tone no matter where they live in the States -- and even European Africans I've noticed the same thing.

I'd appreciate some African Americans answering this question.
