meaning did the stuff in the movie really happen to them? was it really that they were making a documentary then all that happened and they really dissappeared or did they have it all layed out and made it look like that??? did people really find their videos? where did they find them? to me it seemed very real and like it was their real footage and none of that stuff was done by humans, but i just want to find out more.

My boyfriend just broke up with me Thursday. We had been going out for a year, but we have known each other for a very long time (can't really say how long). I have liked him for almost the whole time. It started as puppy dog love and turned out to be love that lasts forever. But now forever is over. I know that some ppl take hold of the scruff of the neck of a dog and use it as a technique of training in some aggressiveness but I have a friend who allows there daughter to carry there 6 month old mini pin around all the time. I was wondering, will that cause any permanent physical harm to the dog?

what do you think of the "leashes" you can buy for your toddler? it's more of a harness type thing, they sell them at wal-mart and they have elmo, or other cute characters on them. they seem like kind of a good idea for crazy 2 or 3 year olds that aren't the best at staying by your side in busy places, but on the other hand, it also seems a little bit inhumane. what do you think?

Someone close to me is quite manipulative. For so long I was a doormat b/c I lacked confidence in myself. Only recently have I become aware of the techniques my mate uses to manipulate people to get his way. He'll dismiss my concerns when I bring them up, he'll punish the relationship by not inviting me out when I disagree with him, he'll make decisions that affect us both w/o discussing with me first and then later bring it up and insinuate I had agreed to the decision. He'll blatantly try rewriting history during disagreements as a way to manipulate me.

Every issue becomes a big issue b/c his lying about small issues makes me feel disrespected. I try to stand up for myself on all issues, but there are some issues that just don't seem worth the effort and so I just give in. What should my next step be? Some psych book I read said it's better to maintain relationships and grow myself, but not end relationships completely.
