Having done just that this morning to one of your other questions I thought to stop in and apologize publicly. For some reason one of my pet peeves is grammar. Spelling is one thing entirely since we have spell check here at our disposal. But grammar...well, it just gets me. I see the intelligence behind the words. But the way the words are arranged underscore that intelligence. And nothing is more tragicly wasteful then hidden and unrealized talent I think. There's my 2 cents for what they're worth.

I would come up with a sarcastic answer (to go with the theme and all), but it's late and I should be in bed.
I give sarcastic answers when the asker has it coming. If you have to ask why education is important for careers, you should be prepared to get some sarcastic remarks.
Personally I tend to be an easy-going gal who doesn't like to make waves in real life. I'd rather avoid controversy than address it head on. Answering questions on the Internet honestly (because I can) gives me an outlet I don't otherwise have without risking coming off as rude.

But seriously, as long as its not personal and I provide my view of the answer, I think a little levity doesnt hurt.

depends on the question, but there's a way to express disagreement in person without being condescending or harsh
