My daughter is going into the third grade. She has always done really well but gets marked down because she works very slowly and meticulously. I and her previous teachers have tried ways to help her move along but she refuses to hurry because she wants to make sure what she does is right. With going into the third grade I am worried that because of this she could start to fall behind. Any suggestions on what could help her work faster?

Democrats firmly control the California legislature and are used to putting through any law they want. They could have done it this time, but apparently weren't prepared to have the Republicans shine a light on what they were doing, and in an election year.

What do you think?

"The rancorous national debate over illegal immigration spilled into the California Assembly on Tuesday as Democrats yanked an immigration resolution after a testy, partisan exchange that drew an outburst from Speaker Fabian Nuñez.

The Los Angeles Democrat emerged from his office to silence Republican critics who were lambasting the non-binding resolution.

``We're pulling the bill. You've got a problem with that?'' he asked before uttering an expletive about Republican nitpicking and leaving the chamber, slamming the door that joins the Assembly to his conference room.

We're not that complicated. We are the way we are because it's natural and comfortable. Stop trying to make us be something we're not.

We don't wear make up and try to hide our true identities. We don't feel the need to "show our emotions" because not much really bothers us. If and when we feel the need to cry, it's possible.

We like "guy stuff" because we're guys. We like to look at pretty women because it's stimulating...that's how we noticed you. Can't you just accept that and leave it alone?

before people jump on me hear me out...the guy is extremely overweight, wears his pants halfway up his gut (somehow), botches moves, and gets complimented for being stiff (though that is not very hard to accomplish). his gimmick as a bad guy who hurts people is just terrible (oooh bloody towel), to me he is just another big guy who can move arond, and do more than 3 or 4 wrestling moves. how is this guy the future of wrestling?
