Do we have 'clean' "Free Energy" NOW?
I've recently read in the news that an Dublin firm claims to have supposedly invented a technology that extracts "free energy" from magnetic fields.
What are your thoughts on this?

Interesting. I'm skeptical, but I do want to read the articles.

One thought here: What would be the effect on the environment? All that energy would eventually turn into heat, and if it's free, people are going to waste it like crazy.

Yes it's true but theres no way it can be free for everybody.Theres equipment and set up costs and finders fees and maintenence and on and on not to forget state and federal regulations. We do need alternative energy sources. So there will be a monoply and prices will be more affordable. I doubt this is true. As far as I know, the easiest way to get free energy is using zero point energy, which so far no one has managed to do yet. If magnetic fields could do it, physicists should have come up with this ages ago.

However, if it IS true, I'm not complaining! :P

Umm I will look into it, but the first thing that comes to mind is: Is the magnetic field continuously renewing energy? I would hate to find out that we would weaken the magnetic field or something.

this is a marketing campaign, I spent about 3 hours looking through everything these guys have done and its rubbish...

I am willing to bet £1 million dollars that it will turn out to be just a prank.
