I adopted a cat a few months ago. She's around 7 years old. She's a bit overweight so we're watching what she eats and all. The only problem we have with her is that she'll meow at 6 o'clock in the morning until she gets fed, which is usually around 7:30. It's difficult to sleep with non-stop meowing and it seems as if the routine feeding time isn't soon enough for her. Although we can't jump out of bed to spoil her either. Anyone else ever have this problem? Can the meowing be stopped?

I don't know what to believe anymore & it's driving me crazy. What is the TRUE religion? IS there a true religion? I feel the need to believe in SOMETHING, but the "people of the book" (Jews, Christians, Muslims) have caused more death & destruction throughout history than anyone else. I know of all the other "world" religions & the lesser religions (wicca, etc). Please do not answer in an attempt to convert me. Don't just tell me I need Jesus, etc. I need real answers. Please answer in detail.

Im 14. and my parents are super strict. they dont let me go out with friends, go to boy's parties, or talk on the phone late. its annoying! and if they do let me go somewhere, i could only go for a little bit. WHAT DO I DO??

So, with the definition established...

As a Christian do you think that when god is working in your life there will always be someone that will try to cause confusion and Strife so as to try and conflict with your faith?

Do you think that a lot of athiests on this board do just that?

In Genesis 13:14 God Rewarded Abraham for ridding himself of confusion... So in essence.. when we as christians get rid of the strife and confusion in our life we are opening the door to blessings from God?

I'm supposed to have my ankle fixed -- I have stage III avascular necrosis of the talar dome, chondral defects, marrow edema, and a talar fracture. I'm not looking forward to the prospect of general anaesthesia -- would a nerve block be apropriate, since it's an extremity, and if so -- what are the complications of a nerve block?

I was in sixth grade (way back when). We were in gym class and I "became a woman," and everyone could basically tell, and they weren't too nice about it. Kids can be so mean.

So i am watching a program on the discovery channel about over crowding in urban areas and they are discussing making huge buildings over double the height and four times the width of any building in existance today. This would help with overcrowding in the city. my question is since mankind is approaching this problem now do you think populaton control sounds like a good idea? Not like China does with forced abortions, but maybe with tax based incentives for not having children and penalties for having more than three. I know there is pleanty of room in this world but dont really want to see it all taken up by urban sprawl.

My bf and I have been dating for about a year but close for almost two. This summer we've been on and off because the fighting between us is too out of hand. I decided to end it with him because I know he's not the one for me. He constantly gets mad at me and calls me very bad names. He also drags the fights on and I'll admit so do I. The problem is I feel like when I'm not with him all I want is to be with him. But then once I'm with him, I'm happy for a day and then just want out. We tried again to make it work, and again, after five days our fighting started again. Our fights have gotten so bad that police reports have been done. Cops called on us for being too loud, and when he gets mad he gets really really uncontrollably mad and it's gotten to the point where i've suffered hairloss from the stress of this relationship. But why do i continue to miss him so much? What do I do!!
