I think it is. Jogging gets you lossened up as long as you're not running on a rubber track. Running cross country should be fine though but rubber tracks make some of your leg muscles tighten up I heard but I don't know the details. But yeah you should be OK doing it but I don't know how that would help you build muscle if that's what you're trying to do.

I think jogging before you work out is imperative as a terrific warmup. But you make it sound like jog is a 4-letter word.

Fact is, the jogging part is the best cardio exercise because it really gets the heart pumping. Good Luck

Running is great for you and will get your body fat down so all those muscles you are pumping up will show off very nicely. And the leg muscles you build, will keep your running safer.

hell yes! Any-one trying to get any muscle needs to jog (or do an aerobic exercise) because it get the body
A) Warmed Up - all joints are lubed
B) Gets your heartbeat up so more oxygen can get to your muscles
C) Burn more FAT

running is good befor or after it helps with toning and good lungs.
