A man was sitting reading his paper when his wife hit him round the head
with a frying pan.
"What was that for?" the man asked.
The wife replied "That was for the piece of paper with the name Jenny on
it that I found in your pants pocket"
The man then said "When I was at the races last week Jenny was the name
of the horse I bet on"
The wife apologised and went on with the housework.

Three days later the man is watching TV when his wife bashes him on the
head with an even bigger frying pan, knocking him unconscious.
Upon re-gaining consciousness the man asked why she had hit again.
"Your horse phoned".

I've been given a coupon for 5% off textbooks at Valorebooks.com but for some reason it is not working. It doesn't have an expiry date nor is it for one person only. Does anyone know why?

Whenever i see tourists like Japanese tourists or chinese tourists and they seem to have a question..i tend to see them ignore me, and try to look for a more Americanize looking person to ask them. even if they need a photograph taken, i'm right there standing, sitting, or doing nothing.. and they will never ask me. In the bus, i see europeans start conversations with Americans if they sit with them in same seat,, but i've had situations like this and they never try to talk to me. So, what exactly do they think when they see Mexicans-americans( that don't look white), do they think we're just disgusting and not american, and that we don't know english? Do they think we're just here in the usa and are nobodys?

I have a two-year-old Sheltie who has always been protective of me. Ever since she was a puppy, she's been following at my heels. I'm 29 weeks pregnant now and for the past few months, she's been really overprotective -- if we pass someone on the street that she doesn't know and they walk a little too close to me, she'll bark uncontrollably, whereas she would usually just slink past them unnoticed. If someone comes to the door, she barks and jumps at the door and she had never done that before, either. She won't even let anyone hug me anymore! Is it possible she can sense that I'm pregnant?

and if not first sight then within the first week of conversing? i don't know how I feel about that because love is an action from what I've learned from the bible in 1 Corinthians 13 but I also FEEL something as well. what's that feeling when u KNOW u love someone called? ...is not about her own personal 24 hour entertainment and that it's not my responsibility to throw a 2 month party in her honour? Normally she's a great kid (she's 9-almost-10) and we've done quite a bit already this summer but it's still another 2 and a half weeks until she goes back to school and every gosh-darn day it's I'M BORED WHAT ARE WE DOING TODAY WHERE CAN WE GO I WANNA GO SOMEWHERE LET'S DO SOMETHING MOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

im a 13 yr old girl. Boys my age often act dorky but whos less mature? The girl who dates a boy or man and gets pregnant or the boy of the same age who rides his skateboard down a fast hill without a helmet. How about my dad who sometimes acts dorky and childish in front of his family but is a professional police detective? How about the elderly person who falls victim to a scam and loses all their money? How about my beloved boy Jamie (no hes not my boyfriend but maybe someday) who is kind and gentle with all but has risked his personal safety to help people in need in his park he goes to almost every afternoon to exercise and is very strong and handsome too. Jamie stopped an armed robber in his park, picks up litter, helps anyone who asks, helps less capable boys on the equiptment, even one who used to tease him, helps elderly people, but is often called immature. The police spoke to his mom once because he was risking his safety by stopping criminals and leave that to them.

I recently upgraded to XP Professional.And it will not let me change the name of a photo file without changing the properties of the file.It gives e a warning before doing so.This has also occured when I try to change names of other files as well.How do I disable this
I often have to change photo file names in my work.
