Is there a paint technique to make wood look like brushed metal? Like a brushed steel or nickel look. I have wooden knobs and pulls that i want to paint to look like a brushed metal. i can't afford to buy actual brushed metal knobs and pulls so need to find a way to make wood look like that.
Also i already have metal fan blades that are painted bright yellow, i want them to be the same effect of the brushed metal look is there a technique to do this look or a product that i can use to give everything that effect?
It might be called brushed chrome. Also i want this a dull finsih not glossy or shiny. Thanks.
Note: Yes i asked this before but only got one answer and was not really what i was looking for, so hoping by asking again will get some other ideas. Thanks in advance.

The Dutch guy gave me a great idea. I would really really really like to find out what exactly do people around the world know about the country I was born in, and where I've lived ever since. some one asked what my response was to my wife after she told me the she had been unfaithful to me. Well hear it is I looked her in the eyes and said " I though you may have and I love you no matter what. you are here with me now and thats all that matters" This really suprised myself that i didn't go off the deep end that is why I asked for your responses to it. I guess trying to make sure i"m not Crazy
We did talk about it details of it and I forgave her but have not forgotten,still to early to have healed. did or do I use it against her NO. have we had fights since Yes, I feel its pointless to throw it up in her face sorry I'm not that vindictive.But it had giving us the opportunity to talk about other things that we never talked about before
and we have become a whole hell of alot closer now than before

i dreamnt that an asteriod had hit the earth, and there was ash everywhere, and i guess the gravity went away cuzall the building started to come out the gouind and float into space, also people were doing that. It was a horrible dream!!!!

I think I'm being ripped off by my car dealer. I had the engine replaced about 2 years ago due to stupidity on a family members part. The whole engine needed to be repalced on a 99 Mustang due to not putting oil in it for over a year. So it gets replaced. For the past year we have been noticing black spots on the cardboard underneath the car in the mornings. When we took it to the dealer he said it was an engine leak and they would fix it because the engine still had a year left on its warranty. THen they say it was also a tranny leak and we had to pay for that. Now everytime it leaks we take it to the dealer and always its the tranny. What color is tranny fluid and what color is engine fluid. Do you think he's ripping me off? Whaty should I do??

A sweet little boy surprized his grandmother one morning and brought her a cup of coffee. He made it himself and was so proud.
He anxiously waited to hear the verdict on the quality of the coffee.
The grandmother had never in her life had such a bad cup of coffee, and as she forced down the last sip she noticed three of those little green army men her grandson plays with in the bottom of her cup. Puzzled she asks, "Honey, why would three little green army men be in the bottom of my cup?
