when i was 8 my mother decided to be an irresponsible adult and left me and my older 1/2 sister behind with our dads. when i found out she was gone and she wasnt coming back, i didnt know what to do...suddenly my sister noticed a behavior change in me. i used to be this happy kid who loved to do everything under the sun, but when this happened, i started to do poorly in school...because i didnt want to do good, i chose who my friends where, but sometimes out of nowhere i would say screw them and not be friends with them anymore.and i remember getting angry at almost anything for no reason....now as an adult i still have a hard time accepting what my mother did...come to find out she is going to be moving back down here in the same city again, and i just dont want this to happen. sometimes when i am in a normal, happy easy going mood, all of a sudden it would just.....change, out of nowhere...i dont know why i get so angry, or how. i feel like i have all this rage and hatred in me...

Ever notice that when mathmeticians generalize something they mean "with no exceptions" - e.g. you may prove something for one example, then generalize it to all cases.

But in common speech, when we say "in general" or that we are "generalizing" we mean that we are saying it is for all cases, but we acknowledge that there are a few exceptions.

I think it explains why sometimes students have problems learning proofs. that is, when we take common speech words and modify their meaning a bit.

I've heard from my late grandfather and other old people that Iraq would've been one of the greatest, most developed countries in the world had the British occupation lasted, The Brits were honest straight forward people and ruled the country MUCH BETTER than all national governments. of course they had their own interests in the country and region but they cared for the Iraqi people too unlike our selfish national corrupted regimes, I'm originally from Iraq and lived there for 23 years.

My friend is legally seperated from her daughters father and there is a court order for spousal and child support....past due to the tune of over 20 grand. He is not a US Citizen and has no papers to my knowledge. She tried a few online sites that help regain back support but, if you get welfare you don't qualify. They live in differnet states and fighting for support seems endless.....anyone have any suggestions on how to work this thing out. The courts seem like no help. And trying to find a Lawyer who practices in both states is like finding a needle in a haystack. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

I'm writing this slow because I know you can't read fast.
We don't live where we did when you left home.
Your Dad read in the newspaper that most accidents
happen within 20 miles of your home, so we moved.

I won't be able to send you the address
because the last family that lived here
took the house numbers when they moved
so they wouldn't have to change their address.

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java.

This place even has a washing machine.
I'm not sure it works so well though.
Last week I put a load of clothes in and pulled the chain.
We haven't seen them since. I hope they come back soon,
like I told your dad we shouldn't have to wear
the same clothes more than a week.

About that coat you wanted me to send;
your Uncle Billy Bob said it would
be too heavy to send in the mail
with the buttons on, so we cut them off
and put them in the pockets.

Bubba locked his keys in the car yesterday.
We were really worried because it took him two
hours to get me and your father out.

Your sister had a baby this morning,
but I haven't found out what it is yet, so I don't know if you are an aunt or uncle.

Uncle Bobby Ray fell into a whisky vat last week.
Some men tried to pull him out,
but he fought them off and drowned.
We had him cremated. He burned for three days.

Three of your friends went
off a bridge in a pickup truck.
Butch was driving.
He rolled down the window and swam to safety.
The other two were in the back.
They drowned because they couldn't
get the tailgate down.

There isn't much more news at this time.
Nothing much out of the normal has happened.

For those who think I ask boring questions, here's a REALLY boring one ... mind you, it interests me ... :)

Thomas Jefferson forcibly tells us what the States retained under the US Constitution in regards to immigration:

Resolved, That alien friends are under the jurisdiction and protection of the laws of the state wherein they are; that no power over them has been delegated to the United States, nor prohibited to the individual states, distinct from their power over citizens; and it being true, as a general principle, and one of the amendments to the Constitution having also declared, that "the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited to the states, are reserved, to the states, respectively, or to the people," the act of the Congress of the United States, passed the 22d day of June, 1798, entitled "An Act concerning Aliens"

Anyone care to read and interpret for themselves? :)
