Instead of cramming for a test, you need to work general revision and review into your daily schedule. Every evening, spend ten minutes reviewing what you did in each class each day. Highlight your notes or even write new ones. Go back and look for key info in the textbook. Don't wait for the test- make studying as natural as brushing your teeth!

You may also want to adjust your eating habits. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence suggesting a diet free from red meat, refined sugars, bleached flour, dairy and chemicals will work wonders on your ability to concentrate and retain information. There is a story about this in the current edition of Viva magazine (which is published in Canada).

my son is repeating kindergarten for that same reason. The best thing that has help us is him taking Ritalin, it really helps on him focusing...his mind tended to wander off, like he was in a world of his own...and I found a little trick to test...we would study like normal through out the week...but we added an extra step the day of the test..riding to school I made flash cards, I would hold him up to him and he had to tell me the words...then I would give em to him and I would randomly pick out a word, wanting him to find it for me...we made a game of it going to school...I know this sounds childish, but it's a good way to learn em...and the day of a test it really helps to go over em...maybe you ride the bus? or with ur mom...whatever the test is of, make some flash cards and make up ur own game...have the person helping play as well..and compete...specially with a parent! It's been a looong time since we have been in school..lol...u probably would win every time

Google this: Infinite Mind Brain Enhancement Technology Eye Q., I know it sounds weird but read up on it and if you like it ask your doctor (the one who identified your learning disability) if this is right for you. If it is than this could really help you out. If it isn't then I'd say just keep trying the best you can.

study in short time spans. that way you aren't trying to over load yourself and your attention will be more focused. if quiet helps you study make sure it is quite....if you need background noise then use a radio that way you aren't as likely to be distracted as you are to look up at the tv.

that is how i used to study because i got bored to fast with it or lost attention on it. it seemed to work for me.

I think, just do the best you can and keep trying. Don't give up. That's the most any one can expect from you. I'm sure you'll do fine.
