What is it like living in a country with so many guns.?

Does everyone have access to a gun and do many people have assault rifles in their homes.

In britian we had reports in the newspaper that if you go to florida not to get in an argument with anyone due to a new law that said if someone feels threatened they can shoot you, is this true.

Dont most people that get shot get shot with their own gun.

It’s great to live in a country with access to guns. Many states have passed concealed gun laws so that we can carry them with us without others knowing whether we have one with us or not.

Does everyone have access to a gun? Yes we do.

Do many people have assault rifles? Not really.

By the way, for the most part the only people seen carrying guns are the police. Most people don’t think about it and life goes on. A supposed primary benefit, of the concealed gun permit, seems to be that crime goes down a little as criminals realize that they might be attacking someone that is better armed than they are, that along with the recent changes in laws that allow victims to defend themselves with deadly force.

LOL! Mostly it is the criminals that have a bunch of guns because they don't follow the law about applying for a license! Some people have guns and some don't. I don't, but one of my sons has several but he is a United States Marine and when he is home on leave, he goes to the shooting range to keep up his shooting skills.
I actually feel safer living in a country where citizens can arm themselves and be protected from criminals. The media tends to report about teens or disgruntled postal worker who have gone wild and had a shooting spree, but they don't report the stories of citizens who have protected their families with a firearm!

No, people in Florida do not have the right to shoot you unless there is a CLEAR and PRESENT danger to themselves, and most people who get shot are not shot with their own guns. Those are common distortions told by the anti-gun lobby in this country. The truth is, for a country with as many guns as we have, they are irrelevant to the daily lives of the vast majority of American citizens.

You would think we all have guns the way it's reported in the press but you would be surprised how many of us don't have guns. My brother is a police officer and I won't let him bring his gun into my home. Like most of my friends I think guns are very bad business.

It is high time that civilian life may be made Gun free.it is shocking that even children have guns.Strict Gun licensing is one way.Improving police and public security is second.Making the general public life Gun Free should have to be taken by Govt.

It makes for some really hard choices for one thing. Who needs assault rifles? A couple of handguns and rifles and a few shotguns will pretty much do the trick. (Whatever that might be)

no and no, however too many people do have them, rick has a double barreled shotgun in the bedroom and loaded, so i suggest everyone stay away from my bedroom. you see we dont know what life would be like without guns, but the worst criminals still manage to do plenty of harm without guns, you need no weapon to kill other than a rock or your hands, sadly enough.

Disturbing. There are gun crimes on the local news far too often, and people become imune to it as they are immersed in a society where this is to some degree acceptable.

it's great, that's why those of us who don't live in the ghetto don't have to worry about waking up to go to the bathroom and getting ambushed. because people think before they break into your home, what if they have guns in there?
