As a man I can tell you. Go for something unique and not expensive. Your five year reunion is coming and the man has to come up with something special which involves wood or clocks. So you have not been married long enough to panic. Calm down and think of something that he likes. Have you ever heard him talk about something that he really likes and does not cost a lot of money? Does he fish, like sports, hobbies. Get him something along those lines. In a marriage the wife does not face a lot of responsibility but I can tell you that a man loves it when a woman gives something that lets him know that she cares. Since you don't have a lot of money, I guess installing a stripper pole in the bedroom is out of the question. LOL. However, make it a day that you both will remember and most of all let him know that you love him. Good food, good wine, beer, liquor if you drink, good lovin, and most of all wake up the next day with a smile on your face because he may be going through the same thing you are. Make it something that you can talk and laugh about for years to come. When you sit around and say remember that one year.... Good Luck

Couples tend to want to do special things when their wedding annivesary is concerned. Sure going out to dinner and a movie is great. However why not do something away from the norm. Find out what he really likes and plan that event. If he likes fishing, golf or sporting events then give him want he wants. Make reservations so that the two of you can have fun. Now i'm aware that this day is for the two of you. But their is nothing wrong with making your spouse happy.

The Big P scores on this one. If you guys are really in love, the thought will be what really counts.
Get a pik-in-ic basket with the red n white checkered liner, put in cheese, bread (not Wonder Bread tho) wine, grapes and maybe some herring in a jar.
A boombox with some of your honeys favorite music and treat him or her like they want to be treated. Then as you are having some wine, have a list of some of your favorite memories together and toast each other to them. The rest ought to fall into place. Congratulations and have fun.

my husband and i recently did s omething we would never had normally done and we came back so refreshed and alive and inlove that its crazy we didnt do it before.

HAD FUN!
We went to a local water park and slid down slides and played in water and acted like kids...........IT WAS A BLAST........WE ARE GOING AGAIN EVERY SUMMER NOW AS A RITUAL, I CANT WAIT. We are getting alone so much better now than before we had fun, things were too stressful and too mundane.

Take a walk along Penns Landing.......grab a bite ( maybe lunch?) in one of the numerous restaurants in the area ( like the Irish Pub, can't remember the name).

you should celebrate. It doesn't matter what you have or don't have, but if you were married to me, I would have a threesome with another woman. She can be the "gift."
