i have been comparing the questions/answers from the US and the UK. the UK just seems to utilize this Q&A feature with honest real questions, and sincere real answers, as opposed to the US where we ask questions like "10 points if you have my same birthday?" bullocks!!

Im am going to be a junior at a highschool in San Jose, CA. There are a lot of young teachers at my school and most of my teaches are younger than 33. Why do they become teachers? Many kids dont respect them, and they just say how cute this teacher is or that teacher is. I understand if young teachers teach at a lower level but highschool? The teens don't respect the teacher. Yes, sometimes they do respect them but not all the time and not the amount of respect they deserve. Why do they become teachers? Also do you believe that they should also get to know the student on a personal level?( the important things that might affect the student.whats going on at home, with friends, ect)

apparently it has nothing to do with imminent i was told .... but so far haven't been able to find a definition for it but american websites use it in the same way as british english sites and meaning in a grammatical point of view .. therefore should i take it that imminant is the american version of the british imminent?

I wish to start my career as Personal Financial Consultant. As the "Baby Boomers" are retiering, there is huge opportunity for making a career in consultation about the investments these guys may intend to pursue. In states that have mandantory laws to keep auto insurance, Shouldn't it be a mandantory law for insurance companies to have a basic low rate for drivers that can't afford the outragous prices that insurance companies charge you? I know insurance rates have more than tripled the rates of basic insurance since these laws have passed! Let's get together and do something about it!!! I'm not speaking of drunk drivers that abuse their privelage, But the average working man, woman that can use that money for groceries or to pay everyday bills ect. Im MAD!!! This just is not right!! Do you aggree?

i am trying to hook up an ethernet cord to an old '98 Compaq but whenever i open IE, the browser always tries to connect throgh dial-up. how do i change the setting so that IE connects to the network using the ethernet cable and is this even possible? contact me if u can help.
