how long does it take to recieve a letter from texas??? my boyfriend is in the airforce and he should have sent me one by now and i havent recieved it yet... do you know how long it will take to get one?? i am leaving tomorrow morning and i was hoping to have one by now and im gonna be gone till next saturday.... i know i should have one before i come home but i want one now!!! so does anyone know??

You left a very important part of info out....where are you? Are you in Alaska, or Russia, or New York? That has a lot to do with how long a letter from Texas would get to you. Can you clarify?

Generally 2 to 3 days; however, if it's being mailed from a military base, they may process the mail through more stringent processing before sending them out to ensure there's nothing of concern in the letter. At work, for example, all our incoming and outgoing mail is opened, run through chemical analysis systems, and checked for content before being processed out to the recipient, which adds a few days to the processing. So, give it a week just to be on the safe side.

It really depends on what time he sent it because if he got it to the post office after they already sorted the mail then it will be a day later. And it also depends on how far away you are from texas.

Honey you forgot to tell us where you are. I would say the letter could reach just about anywhere in the continental US within a week. Does he have email access yet? If he is in bootcamp he may not.

It would probably take 3-4 days to get to you...maybe even 5 days...try logging on to the usps.com and find out what their estimated delivery is from state to state.

he doesn't have time to send you letters. He is at teh strip clubs and running around with all the women around the base that are trying to hook up with the young airmen
you are old news and too far away for him to worry about
